Immerse yourself in the legend of Atlantis during this exciting excursion. After an approximately 25-minute bus transfer to Paradise Island, you’ll be escorted to the resort for a guided exploration of Atlantis, to experience the most mystifying and spectacular resort to have risen from the sea. Discover the world’s largest marine habitat, and view over 50,000 sea animals representing 200 different species. Also explore the Dig, which will reveal how Atlantean culture flourished over 11,000 years ago. Come to discover a continent in just one day at Atlantis Paradise Island. At the conclusion of the guided portion of the tour, you’ll have some time on your own to return to the Dig and its exhibits, shop at the Marina Village, visit the casino, explore the hotel’s grand lobby or have a bite to eat at your own expense. Note: Participants ages 3 or younger receive free admission if accompanied by a participating paying adult (parent or guardian at least 18 years of age). This tour does not include access or use of the resort pool, beach or water slides and is not recommended for those with physical limitations. Although most walking is on level terrain, this is a walking tour and there is a considerable amount of walking involved. The Atlantis Resort uses a cashless system at many of its outdoor food and beverage venues located near the beach area. Guests should bring a credit card to use at these locations. Cash venues are very limited. Transportation for this tour is by bus, there is approximately 25 minutes each way depending on traffic conditions. Guests participating on an Atlantis Shore Excursion must arrive at the place and time stated on the Shore Excursion ticket. Atlantis tour tickets will not be honored at the resort. less

Board this trendy double-deck catamaran, the M/V Blue Manta. Enjoy a narrated tour of the history of one of the western hemisphere’s oldest cities while listening to tropical island music. When you reach the snorkel site, your tour guide will give you a safety briefing and show you how to glide and explore a spectacular undersea world with your underwater power scooter. As you ride for one hour through the water you’ll discover many parrotfish and all other habitants living in this marine protected reef. Note: Participants must be at least 12 years of age and weigh no more than 250 lbs. This tour includes use of mask, snorkels, fins and power scooter. Bring your swimsuit. Not advised for pregnant women. Complimentary bottled water or soda included. An approximately 10 to 15-minute walk is required to board transportation for all Nassau tours. Board your powered catamaran for a narrated harbor cruise on the way to the snorkeling site off of Athol Island. While cruising around one of the most beautiful harbors in the world, you’ll be briefed on historical points of interest as well as the homes of the rich and famous. Once at the snorkel site you’ll discover the real beauty of the Bahamas. Snorkel in some of the clearest water you’ve ever seen. The friendly staff will guide you along the reef and highlight the fish that you see, answering any questions that you might have. Note: Participants must be at least 6 years of age to snorkel, and able to swim. A moderate 10 to 15-minute walk is required to/from the boat. Snorkeling equipment is provided prior to departure. less

Begin your adventure of discovery aboard a sleek double-deck catamaran, the M/V Blue Manta. Listen to a narrated tour which recants the history of one of the oldest waterfront cities in the western hemisphere. Arrive at the Stand Up Paddle Board (SUP) site and listen as your experienced guide provides safety briefing and demonstration. Then, board your two-person Paddle Board and walk your way through some of the world’s most beautiful waters. Purchase some food to feed the fish and watch them gather around you. Also, enjoy the opportunity to snorkel for a closer look underwater or bask in the sun on the uncovered top deck of the catamaran. Note: Participants must be at least 12 years of age, weigh no more than 220 lbs. and be in good health. All Paddle Boards accommodate 2 guests. The paddle board time is approximately 40 minutes. Bring a towel and wear sunscreen. Guests must sign a waiver release form. less

Your tour begins upon an air-conditioned sightseeing bus with a knowledgeable driver guide who will regale you with details and anecdotes about the sights you encounter. Drive through the heart of downtown known as Rawson Square. Here you’ll see the House of Parlaiment, Supreme Court, Public Library and other historical buildings central to the life of The Bahamas and its people. Your next stop is Ardastra Gardens, Zoo and Conservation Center, a peaceful retreat, to enjoy over four acres of lush tropical gardens and over 200 birds, reptiles and mammals. The Ardastra Gardens is home to a collection of endangered land animals and features the Bahamas National Bird, the beautiful and exotic Caribbean Flamingo.

You’ll participate in the “Flamingo Experience”, a unique show of the glory and antics of these incredible creatures together with an excellent narration of their story. You’ll also hand-feed the colourful and playful South Pacific Lory Parrots and have numerous photographic opportunities with “Toby” the Cockatoo, “Jackie” the Snake and “Freddy” the Peacock. While walking the Gardens, friendly and informed staff will answer questions while two-legged feathered friends will freely entertain. Enjoy a cool beverage from the Parrot Pit Stop and browse through our eclectic gift shop, Toby's Treasures. Your transport from the time of pick-up until drop-off at Ardastra is fully narrated, giving you an inside look at Bahamian culture.
