Immerse yourself in the legend of Atlantis during this exciting excursion. After an approximately 25-minute bus transfer to Paradise Island, you’ll be escorted to the resort for a guided exploration of Atlantis, to experience the most mystifying and spectacular resort to have risen from the sea. Discover the world’s largest marine habitat, and view over 50,000 sea animals representing 200 different species. Also explore the Dig, which will reveal how Atlantean culture flourished over 11,000 years ago. Come to discover a continent in just one day at Atlantis Paradise Island. At the conclusion of the guided portion of the tour, you’ll have some time on your own to return to the Dig and its exhibits, shop at the Marina Village, visit the casino, explore the hotel’s grand lobby or have a bite to eat at your own expense. Note: Participants ages 3 or younger receive free admission if accompanied by a participating paying adult (parent or guardian at least 18 years of age). This tour does not include access or use of the resort pool, beach or water slides and is not recommended for those with physical limitations. Although most walking is on level terrain, this is a walking tour and there is a considerable amount of walking involved. The Atlantis Resort uses a cashless system at many of its outdoor food and beverage venues located near the beach area. Guests should bring a credit card to use at these locations. Cash venues are very limited. Transportation for this tour is by bus, there is approximately 25 minutes each way depending on traffic conditions. Enjoy a full day of water fun at Atlantis! Explore the new Dolphin Cay and play with dolphins in one of the newest and largest dolphin habitats in the world and home to the world-famous 'Katrina' dolphins. Meet and connect with dolphins in a 30-minute in-water interaction where you’ll touch, hug and even kiss these amazing animals. You’ll also have access to Dolphin Cay’s private beach. Your day continues at Aquaventure, the only water park of its kind in the world. This 141-acre aqua-adventure features the Power Tower and Mayan Temple offering eight high-speed body and inner tube slides, numerous children's water play activities, relaxing pools, beautiful white-sand beaches, and a mile-long action river ride that you won't want to miss! Experience white water rapids, rolling waves, gentle currents, themed caves and never-before-seen special effects as you float along in a single or double tube. Note: Participants must be at least 2 years of age for the Dolphin Interaction program and at least 48 inches tall to ride water slides at the Aquaventure. A parent or appointed guardian must participate in the programs with all children under the age of 10. This program includes a video orientation and a trainer talk, complimentary wet suit, natural fruit, infused water, personal locker, towels, beach service, and all-day access to Dolphin Cay’s private beach. Wetsuits are mandatory at Dolphin Cay. Due to the amount of walking, numerous steps and inclines, the Aquaventure tour is not recommended for the physically challenged or for pregnant women. There is a considerable amount of walking on this tour (approximately 0.4 miles). Sandals or ‘aqua socks’ are strongly recommended for children of all ages. Non-motorized water sports are available for rent. Guests should bring a credit card for drink and food purchases. This tour is non-refundable. The Hippo Water Slide pass is for the entire day. It's the world’s largest inflatable water slide in the shape of a hippopotamus. This 40 foot high and 175 foot long "Hippo" is available to use at your leisure all day. Don’t be left out, plunge down this three story slide for an exciting adventure! Learn about, meet and interact with the most beloved mammal in the ocean - the bottlenose dolphin. Transfer to and from Blue Lagoon Island, home to 19 bottlenose dolphins, by boat from the pier (approximately 40 minutes each way). Upon arrival, meet the trainers for an educational briefing. This program takes place in approximately 20-foot-deep water, in small groups of no more than 10, so everyone has the opportunity to meet the dolphin while in the water and to ask questions. Highlights include a petting and feeding session with the dolphins, the popular high speed 'foot push' and optional professional photo and DVD/video opportunity. Note: Participants must be at least 6 years of age. Pregnant women are not allowed. Actual in-water encounter time is approximately 30 minutes. Children between the ages of 6 to 12 must be accompanied in the water by a paying guardian/parent. The paying guardian/parent must be book at the same time of the child participant; these booking cannot be made onboard as space is very limited. Lifejackets are required and provided on a complimentary basis; wet suits are available during cooler weather. Wear your swimsuit and bring a towel from your ship.
