See the best of Nassau. This tour will take you along Bay Street, the heart of Nassau’s shopping district, to the Queen's Staircase built in the days of England's Queen Victoria, it consists of over 65 steps cut out of solid coral rock. Catch your breath and shop around the kiosk before going to your next stop, Fort Fincastle. This fort was built in 1793 and it was designed based on the shape of a paddle wheel steamer. Next, take an outside visit to Fort Charlotte, built in the British-Colonial era to defend the island against marauding pirates. Before returning to your ship, there will be a brief photo stop at the famous Atlantis Resort on Paradise Island. Note: Fort Charlotte will be an outside visit. less

Your private cabana comes with everything you need to enjoy your stay on the Cay. Start your day with priority tender tickets, making it easy to get ashore. Bottled water and fruit await your arrival. Once you have settled in, enjoy the sea on a complimentary floating mat, plus a $50 credit towards food and beverages while on the Cay. Note: You may have the use of the Cabana for the entire day. Price listed is per cabana (not per person); therefore only one person needs to reserve the cabana. Enjoy an exhilarating America’s Cup style match racing experience aboard two former team New Zealand, America’s Cup racing yachts, NZL 10 and NZL 12. You’ll get a safety briefing by a professional crew. Once prepped, you’ll be given instructions on which ropes to pull or where to sit to get the best view of the action. You’ll be encouraged to be part of the racing crew, trim the sails, take the helm or work the grinders; you can also sit back, relax and watch all the action happening right in front of you. Then, it’s out sailing through the crystal clear waters off Paradise Island, overlooking beautiful Nassau. Lastly, head back to the dock for a complimentary drink. Here you’ll have a chance to purchase memorabilia to show your friends and family. Note: Participants must be at least 7 years of age, in good health and be able to move around and between boats, which involves stepping up and down between vessels and docks. Soft soled shoes are recommended. Should you decide to participate in the sailing of the yachts, this can be strenuous and it is up to you to determine your own limitations. Your experience begins with a 25-minute bus transfer to the Atlantis Resort at Paradise Island. Upon arrival, you’ll be escorted to a reserved location on the beach where you’ll be provided a beach lounge chair and towel to bask in the sun and a self-guided map which will help you find your way around the resort. You can enjoy shopping at a variety of unique stores, gaming in the Atlantis Casino or visit the Dig, a unique marine habitat that is home to more than 50,000 marine life. Water bikes, peddle boats, kayaks, water hammocks and snorkeling equipment are all available for an additional charge. Note: Participants ages 3 or younger receive free admission if accompanied by a participating paying adult (parent or guardian at least 18 years of age). There is a considerable amount of walking on this tour (approximately 0.4 miles). Complimentary guided tours are available at the Discover Atlantis kiosk throughout the day. This tour does not include the use of the swimming pools, water slides, pool deck and pool lounge chairs, as these areas are exclusive to hotel guests. The Atlantis Resort uses a cashless system at many of its outdoor food and beverage venues located near the beach area. Guests should bring a credit card to use at these locations. Cash venues are very limited. Transportation for this tour is by bus, there is approximately 25 minutes each way depending on traffic conditions. Guests participating on an Atlantis Shore Excursion must arrive at the place and time stated on the Shore Excursion ticket. Atlantis tour tickets will not be honored at the resort. This tour is not available for the Norwegian Epic and Norwegian Sun. The last transfer back to the ship will be one hour before sailing time. less

Learn about, meet and interact with the bottlenose dolphin. The friendly nature and legendary intelligence of these animals account for their huge popularity. You’ll be transferred to and from Blue Lagoon Island by boat, from the pier (40 minutes each way). This lagoon is home to 19 bottlenose dolphins. Upon arrival, you’ll meet the dolphin trainers for a 10-minute educational briefing and be helped onto a floating platform in small groups for the opportunity to touch and interact with dolphins in waist-deep water. Note: Participants ages 3 or younger receive free admission if accompanied in the program by a participating paying adult (parent or guardian at least 18 years of age). Children between the ages of 3 to 12 must be accompanied in the water by a paying guardian/parent. The paying guardian/parent must be book at the same time of the child participant; these booking cannot be made onboard as space is very limited. Actual in-water encounter time is approximately 10 to 15 minutes. Approximately 1/2 to 1 mile of walking on the pier is required. Wear your swimsuit and bring a towel from your ship.
