Whether you’re snorkeling for the very first time or you consider yourself an expert, you’ll want to experience our adventurous snorkel trail "The Fate of the Fancy" on Great Stirrup Cay. Located in the clear blue waters of Bertram’s Cove, you’ll snorkel your way around the wreckage of the treasure ship 'The Fancy', which sailed towards the Berry Islands in April of 1696 when it disappeared into the darkness of the night. Legend has it that from the depths of the sea appeared the sea creature Lusca, which grasped and destroyed the ship. The trail includes 17 mini reefs comprised of shipwreck artifacts that include cannons, treasure chests, swords and even a sunken piano. Note: Participants must be able to swim. This tour is the length of the ship’s duration in Great Stirrup Cay. less

Start your day with a 40-minute scenic boat ride through historic Nassau Harbor towards Blue Lagoon Island. Enjoy this private island at your leisure. Swim on a pristine beach or just relax and lounge in a double hammock. Take part in sports activities such as volleyball, and beach soccer. You can also visit the Dolphin Encounter’s facility and observe friendly Bahamian Atlantic bottlenose dolphins and sea lions in their all-natural habitat. Refresh yourself with a tropical drink and a complimentary lunch. Note: Participants ages 3 or younger receive free admission if accompanied in the program by a participating paying adult (parent or guardian at least 18 years of age). Premium non-motorized equipment such as aqua bikes, paddle boats and kayaks are available at an additional cost. Regular non-motorized equipment such as inner tubes, big boss noodles, and float mats are included. Wear your swimsuit, bring a towel and cash/credit cards for purchases at the facility. There is an additional fee of $15 per person for the inflatable aqua and bounce parks. Approximately 1/2 to 1 mile of walking on the pier is required. Here you’ll come face to face with alligators, exotic birds and native fish while gliding over an endless river of grass. Throughout the approximately 30-minute journey, your experienced guide will introduce you to the unique eco-system of the park as you experience the vast expanse of this saw grass wilderness passing by lush vegetation, mangrove swamps and hardwood hammocks. Known for its rich bird life, particularly large wading birds, be on the look out for the roseate spoonbill, white ibis, wood stork, great blue heron and a variety of egrets. It's also the only place in the world where alligators and crocodiles exist side by side. Following your airboat ride you’ll be able to explore the park on your own. The Reptile Show will provide you with an informative, interactive opportunity to become familiar with the features of the American alligators. You may also choose to take the Jungle Trail, which leads to an area featuring American Alligators, and a crocodile exhibit, including various species from around the world. Your experience begins with a 25-minute bus transfer to the Atlantis Resort at Paradise Island. Upon arrival, you’ll be escorted to a reserved location on the beach where you’ll be provided a beach lounge chair and towel to bask in the sun and a self-guided map which will help you find your way around the resort. You can enjoy shopping at a variety of unique stores, gaming in the Atlantis Casino or visit the Dig, a unique marine habitat that is home to more than 50,000 marine life. Water bikes, peddle boats, kayaks, water hammocks and snorkeling equipment are all available for an additional charge. Note: Participants ages 3 or younger receive free admission if accompanied by a participating paying adult (parent or guardian at least 18 years of age). There is a considerable amount of walking on this tour (approximately 0.4 miles). Complimentary guided tours are available at the Discover Atlantis kiosk throughout the day. This tour does not include the use of the swimming pools, water slides, pool deck and pool lounge chairs, as these areas are exclusive to hotel guests. The Atlantis Resort uses a cashless system at many of its outdoor food and beverage venues located near the beach area. Guests should bring a credit card to use at these locations. Cash venues are very limited. Transportation for this tour is by bus, there is approximately 25 minutes each way depending on traffic conditions. Guests participating on an Atlantis Shore Excursion must arrive at the place and time stated on the Shore Excursion ticket. Atlantis tour tickets will not be honored at the resort. This tour is not available for the Norwegian Epic and Norwegian Sun. The last transfer back to the ship will be one hour before sailing time. less

Have a fun time at Atlantis. Wade into the waters of one of the world’s newest and largest dolphin habitats where you will touch, hug, and even kiss your new dolphin friends. Watch as they show off their playful side through some of their favorite behaviors. This intimate interaction begins with an orientation and includes 30-minutes in the water. Let the dolphins of Atlantis welcome you to join in the fun. Wet suits, personal lockers, beach towels, and non-alcoholic refreshments are provided. You’ll receive an Atlantis map, which will allow you to take a self-guided tour at your leisure of the Ruins Lagoon, a recreation of the sunken streets of mythical Atlantis and the Dig, a replica of an archaeological excavation site. Enjoy complimentary soft drinks while sunbathing at Dolphin’s Cay private beach. Note: Bring your swimsuit. Participants must be at least 2 years of age. For children under 10 years of age, a parent or appointed guardian must participate in the program. Wetsuits are mandatory. Children must be able to comprehend and follow instructions. Wear comfortable shoes as there is a considerable amount of walking once at the resort. This tour has access to Dolphin Cay private beach to sunbathe and watch the dolphins only; however swimming is not allowed. For the safety of everyone, observers must remain on the beach and are not permitted to enter the water. Dolphin Observer tickets are sold onboard only. This tour is non-refundable. Learn about, meet and interact with the bottlenose dolphin. The friendly nature and legendary intelligence of these animals account for their huge popularity. You’ll be transferred to and from Blue Lagoon Island by boat, from the pier (40 minutes each way). This lagoon is home to 19 bottlenose dolphins. Upon arrival, you’ll meet the dolphin trainers for a 10-minute educational briefing and be helped onto a floating platform in small groups for the opportunity to touch and interact with dolphins in waist-deep water. Note: Participants ages 3 or younger receive free admission if accompanied in the program by a participating paying adult (parent or guardian at least 18 years of age). Children between the ages of 3 to 12 must be accompanied in the water by a paying guardian/parent. The paying guardian/parent must be book at the same time of the child participant; these booking cannot be made onboard as space is very limited. Actual in-water encounter time is approximately 10 to 15 minutes. Approximately 1/2 to 1 mile of walking on the pier is required. Wear your swimsuit and bring a towel from your ship. Come along as an observer and watch your family and friends as they come 'face to fins' with dolphins at their interactive encounter, swim or sea lion program. You’ll be transferred to and from Blue Lagoon Island by boat, from the pier (approximately 40 minutes each way). View Nassau’s historic and scenic harbor as you cruise by Paradise Island and Nassau. Once at Blue Lagoon Island, enjoy viewing native Bahamian Atlantic bottlenose dolphins and sea lions in their all natural habitat - without getting wet! As an observer, you’ll have a fun interactive orientation briefing covering their natural history, animal training techniques, ocean conservation and wildlife guidelines. Enjoy the up-close and personal view of these gentle marine mammals from a nearby platform - as you remain high and dry.
