Enjoy a city sightseeing tour of Copenhagen. View the Ny Carlsberg Glyptotek Museum, National Museum, and Christiansborg Palace, the seat of the Danish Parliament, Prime Minister’s Office and Supreme Court. Continue on to view the colorful 17th-century harbor district of Nyhavn, and Amalienborg Palace, the winter residence of the Danish Royal Family as well as the site of the changing of the Guard. Visit the Gefion Fountain, the largest monument in the city which was designed and erected in 1908 by Danish artist Anders Bundgård, and the iconic Little Mermaid statue. Enjoy a classic Scandinavian smorgasbord lunch at a local restaurant. Your tour ends at Stroget Street, Europe’s longest pedestrian street, where you can spend your afternoon at your leisure. Stroget Street is a wonderful place to go shopping or simply go for a pleasant stroll. You may also visit Town Hall Square and see the World Clock. In the evening, visit Tivoli Gardens, the most visited theme park in Scandinavia and the second-oldest amusement park in the world.

Begin your castle tour in Elsinore for a visit of the outer walls and towers of the impressive Kronborg castle, the setting of Shakespeare's play Hamlet, set dramatically at the approach to the Øresund Sound. One of Northern Europe’s best examples of Renaissance architecture, you will visit the casemates, chapel and Royal apartments. There will be a stop for photos at Fredensborg Castle, the summer residence of the Danish Royal family. Finally, a scenic drive along the Danish Riviera, to see the beautiful homes, bays and beaches to the North of Copenhagen. Later, say goodbye to your Tour Manager and transfer to the port. Norwegian Star sails at 5:00 pm.
