Set sail from Copenhagen for Alesund, Norway, one of the three last Art Nouveau cities left in Europe. Or visit islands off the coast, like Godøy, where you’ll find the small, fishing village of Alnes facing the open sea. Or the island of Giske, where you can visit a village church dating back to the year 1150. Its austerity will provide great contrast for your visit to Peterhof, the “Russian Versailles” in St. Petersburg. Onward to the “Daughter of the Baltic” also known as Helsinki, and visit the largest sea fortress in the world, Suomenlinna, built to protect the city from Russia. We’ll sail the Stockholm Archipelago before concluding our fantastic voyage in Copenhagen.
