I went to Dominican Republic and had an AMAZING time. We embarked in New York. I can't say that wasn't a hustle, but can surely say it was something new. This was our second cruise with NCL and was surely another cruise to remember. I didn't fully like Jamaica, because of the animals that looked so depressed, and dying. After that we did enjoy our cruise a lot. I got my hair braided back, and held parrots on my shoulder. I always like making new friends which I did. I also really enjoyed when two men in the family forgot aloe on the ship, and decided it wouldn't be too stupid (although it was) to find an aloe plant and put the fresh aloe on their faces because that's where they were burnt. It couldn't have gotten funnier because the aloe was bright yellow, which means everyone could see it. Other than that I also smiled when I got to see Nickelodeon Characters say good bye, and welcome to us when leaving for a port and coming back from one. I loved the pajama jam, and the enthusiastic cruise director, Nacho. I can't wait to go on my next cruise with NCL in October, 2015 for an another amazing adventure.
Wonderful Cruise

Just came back yesterday from a terrific cruise on the Breakaway to Bermuda. It was my second visit to Bermuda and third cruise on NCL. My expectations were much more than met. Everything on this ship was topnotch from the great food, excellent entertainment, and a lot of fun things to do onboard as well as just relaxing. I was concerned because the ship has such a large passenger capacity that it would be overcrowded but didn't have a problem always finding a quiet place. Of course the poolside gets crowded on warm sunny days, but so does any ship. I also purchased the NCL transportation plan which brought me from Providence RI directly to the ship in Manhattan. Very accommodating and worth the price. All in all I'm very pleased with this NCL cruise and my only complaint would be the few people that would complain about nothing. Bermuda is beautiful and the people are very nice. Since I'd been the island before I knew Horseshoe Bay was a terrific beach. Depending on transportation, it takes about 30-60 minutes to get to but well worth it. "Snorkel Beach" which is a short walk from the ship is not so great but nice if you want to jump in the water for a bit after shopping. I tried a jetski tour that was very fun. The tour guide took us to a shipwreck where we fed fish and to a beautiful beach where we could swim and see sea turtles. I had an outside cabin that had a large window on deck 5. It was the biggest room I've had on a cruise and seemed to be bigger than more expensive balcony rooms. Also got a chance to peek into the solo cabins. They were very nice and surprisingly larger than the NCL photos. I would recommend this NCL ship and iterniary.
The Fabulous Breakaway!

There is no better way to describe this vacation other than FABULOUS! We traveled as a family of four in side by side inside cabins for the Bermuda itinerary in September 2013! This was a second cruise on NCL. The Breakaway was beautiful with plenty of space for all passengers. We loved Spice H20 on those sea days to just kick back and read or sit and enjoy the view! The waterfront area is very nice and a great place to watch that fabulous NYC Sail-away. All restaurants were great! WE loved LeBistro and Cagney's and found the food excellent even in the main dining rooms. Entertainment top notch with something for everyone from Broadway shows, waterslides, ropes course and rock climbing, comedy, music venues, casinos and bars, and on board events including Fireworks! Bermuda is a beautiful island and we felt so welcome by everyone we encountered both on the Breakaway and on the island! We loved it so much that we are headed back this year. Well done Norwegian Cruise Line!
