KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILIITES:
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite with special emphasis on Outlook, Word and Excel in order to develop correspondence, emails and basic reports.
- Basic knowledge of database software to input data and use a workforce schedule planning system.
- Ability to communicate with tact and diplomacy, both orally and in writing, in order to effectively interact with joining crew members, hiring partners, port agents, embassies and consulates, Personnel Managers onboard, and shore side team members within the organization.
- Solid organizational skills in order to efficiently meet multiple deadlines while working in a fast paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail in order to accurately enter data into the workforce planning system and assess data, review travel invoices, coordinate travel arrangements and ensure that all pre-employment documentation has been met.
- Knowledge of world geography.
- Ability to quickly learn Norwegian Cruise Line itineraries.
- Knowledge and experience working with medical terms is a plus.
- Familiarity with CBAs (Collective Bargaining Agreements) and contracts of employment is preferred.
