Along the way, your guide will tell you about the history and culture of this captivating city as you pass villages and small towns and miles of rural land. After lunch, discover Marrakech and see new and exciting places such as the Menara basin, the 12th-century minaret of Koutoubia, the tallest and most famous landmark in Marrakech, and the Saadian tombs, where the Royal family of the Saadian dynasty is buried. The beautiful Necropolis contains 66 indoor tombs with interiors intricately decorated with mosaics. Visit the 19th century Bahia Palace, a great exponent of Moroccan architecture, with its tranquil lush gardens and magnificent decorations. Walk through the ancient Medina with its colorful souks where you’ll have some time for optional shopping.
