Kaktus Island Kayak Adventure

Your tour begins as you board your motorcoach which will transport you to the Golden Zone. Upon arrival, you’ll be met by your guides who will help you warm up for your adventure with a short walk to the beach where your kayak awaits. At the beach you’ll be outfitted with lifejackets and paddles and given a briefing over the safe operation of the kayaks, which are of the ‘sit-on-top’ variety. Then it’s off on your guided ocean kayak adventure for approximately one hour, during which you’ll circle the secluded Kaktus Island located just offshore. The completion of the kayak portion of your tour brings you to a beachfront restaurant where fresh fruit, Mexican pastries, bottled water and soft drinks will be waiting for you. After taking time to relax a bit, you may participate in the optional hiking portion of the tour which is approximately 45 minutes (1 mile) and takes you to a location offering a beautiful view. If you decide not to take part in the hiking portion of the tour, you may remain at the restaurant to swim, sunbathe or just simply relax. Note: Participants must be at least 7 years of age and weigh no more than 250 lbs. Bring a towel, sunscreen, a hat and wear your swimsuit under your clothes if you plan to swim. There is no lifeguard on duty, swim at your own risk.
