Waterfalls & Rainforest Hike

Hike with Hawaii's "Eco Tour Company of the Year," an award-winning, long-time Maui tour company. You’ll walk through the lush rainforest along two streams dotted with several waterfalls from 10 to 40 feet high, each with a large pond perfect for swimming or toe-dipping. It’s unusual for a Hawaiian valley to have this many waterfalls close together, so this is a very popular valley along Maui’s famous Hana Highway. Great waterfalls, big clear swimming pools, gorgeous bamboo and tropical rainforests, freshwater streams - the whole area is a playground of beauty and adventure. And there is nothing like 'showering' under a Hawaiian waterfall. This hiking company is well-known for their knowledgeable, naturalist guides who provide a fascinating narrative on Hawaii's unique ecosystems. The hike is two miles round trip and footing can be tricky in the forest. Note: Participants must be at least 6 years of age. Wear a swimsuit, bring a towel and wear shoes you don’t mind getting wet and muddy. Water shoes are suggested. Day packs, bottled water, mosquito repellent and rain wear will be provided.
