Continue on to Union Square and then head toward the famous Nob Hill for a photo stop and a visit to Grace Cathedral. Continue to the Civic Center and view City Hall. Then it’s on to Chinatown for a Dim Sum lunch at one of Chinatown’s popular restaurants. After lunch, ride through the streets of North Beach, Fisherman’s Wharf, Ghiradelli Square and by the Palace of Fine Arts. A photo opportunity awaits at Vista Point, just across the world famous Golden Gate Bridge. Then it’s on to Golden Gate Park and Alamo Square (time permitting) before returning to your ship. less

Enjoy all that San Francisco has to offer including sightseeing, museums, shopping, and restaurants as this narrated tour allows you to hop-on or hop-off throughout the day at 20 of the city’s most popular sites. Half of the buses feature live commentary by an English speaking guide, the other half offer an audio tour in 10 different languages. Frequency of the buses is every 10 minutes in the summer and every 20 minutes in the winter.
Highlights include Fisherman’s Wharf, North Beach, Little Italy, Embarcadero and Union Square. The Civic Center includes the architectural masterpieces of City Hall, Asian Art Museum, Central Library, Symphony Hall and the Opera House. Enjoy Alamo Square with its Victorian row houses and Haight-Ashbury, once the epicenter of the 1960’s hippy culture. Your stop at Golden Gate Park includes the California Academy of Sciences, Japanese Tea Garden, De Young Museum, and Botanical Gardens. Crossing the iconic Golden Gate Bridge return to the city center via Presidio Park, with stops at the Palace of Fine Arts, Lombard Street, Union Square North, Chinatown, and Steuart Street. The tour ends at the ship’s pier.

On this tour, you will explore the postcard-perfect town of Sausalito, a charming town and an artist's colony with a Mediterranean flair. Once a rumrunner's port, Sausalito hugs the hills above San Francisco Bay. You’ll have time to enjoy the bay views and browse at the boutiques, art galleries, as well as the arts and crafts shops along the charming waterfront. You'll also have the opportunity to visit Muir Woods, a 550-acre National Monument and home to towering coastal redwoods, some of the tallest and oldest trees in the world. During your approximately 1-1 1/2 hour stop here, you'll be given a map of the park illustrating the various trails for your self-guided tour. Note: Short stroll on level surfaces down Main Street of Sausalito. The walk through the woods is at your own pace with benches throughout for resting. You'll continue to drive north over the Golden Gate Bridge for a brief photo stop at Vista Point. Then it’s on to Sonoma for wine tasting, where you'll visit two wineries located in the Carneros Region, with time in between for lunch on your own at Sonoma Town Plaza. This plaza offers a shady park and picnic grounds surrounded by charming boutiques, superb cuisine and educational landmark buildings, eclectic shops and fabulous restaurants.
