You’ll travel approximately 30 minutes by bus or van to Delfin Beach where your semi-automatic ATV will be waiting. Upon arrival, your guide will provide instructions and safety gear. Hop on your one-person ATV and travel caravan-style along the most beautiful, off-the-beaten-path beaches in Mazatlan. Stop along the way to take photos and enjoy the natural wonders that surround you. Ride for approximately 1½ hours, and then return to a beachfront restaurant. Here, you’ll have the opportunity to prepare your own quesadilla on site which is made with handmade corn tortillas and enjoy refreshing soft drinks before returning to the ship. This tour is perfect for both the beginner as well as the more advanced off-road rider. Note: Participants must be at least 21 years of age with a valid driver’s license and weigh less than 290 lbs. Due to rough terrain this tour is not for pregnant women, guests with heart or respiratory conditions, back or neck injuries. The Hermitage Museum ranks among the most prestigious museums in the world, containing about three million objects of unparalleled importance. The route takes you through the State Rooms of the Winter Palace, the collection of Western European art featuring Leonardo da Vinci, Raphael, Titian and others, Dutch and Flemish Art collections, including masterpieces by Rembrandt, Rubens and Van Dyck, and the French Impressionists Collection. You’ll see the collection of Spanish art (second only to Madrid’s Prado), and the collection of French art, which is the largest outside France, displaying works by Degas, Renoir, Monet, Cezzanne, Van Gogh, Gauguin, and Matisse.
From the Hermitage, your coach proceeds to drive towards one of the main landmarks of St. Petersburg – the Church on Spilled Blood. This exquisitely decorated cathedral was built on the spot were Tsar Alexander II had been fatally wounded by a member of the People’s Will revolutionary terrorist organization on March I, 1881. Combining the artistic styles of the 15th, 16th and 17th centuries, the cathedral is a kaleidoscope of decorative elements, with an extensive collection of mosaics that cover over 8,400 square yards, and five domes that are covered with more than 1,000 square yards of jeweler’s enamel.

Next, swim the underwater world of Huatulco while tanning under the sun of this Mexican South Pacific beach. In the morning your tour takes you outside of the city to the historical town of Pushkin. The drive will take you to the Egyptian Gates, the entrance to the Tsar’s Village in Pushkin. Catherine’s Palace in the Tsar’s Village ranks as one of the masterpieces of world art. Peter the Great presented the estate to his wife Catherine in 1710 and the architect Braunstein built a small palace here. From this time until the time of the last Russian Tsar, Pushkin was used as the summer residence of the Royal Family. In 1756, Bartelomeo Rastrelli expanded the palace in Baroque style. Its grandiose, white and gold facade stretches 978 feet. During World War II, the palace was damaged severely, but since then it has been restored and stands now in its original glory. The palace tour takes you through the series of magnificent rooms, including the famous Picture Gallery, the Great Hall and the world famous Amber Room.
The parks of the estate add to the splendor of the palace, and several of them are embellished with a number of charming pavilions. The town of Pushkin is famous not only for its remarkable palace and parks, but the man it was named after – Alexander Pushkin, the most celebrated poet in the country and a resident of this town at the beginning of the 19th century. The lyceum, where he studied, is connected to the palace by an arch. After the tour you’ll continue to one of the dining venues for lunch after which, you’ll drive back to the city for a tour of the Hermitage Museum, the largest art museum in Russia and the most prestigious museum in the world. The Hermitage Museum occupies the Winter Palace, the winter residence of the Russian Tsars, and four more buildings.

Your journey starts with a transfer to Peterhof, also called the Russian Versailles. Peterhof, the town of palaces, fountains and parks, was built by Peter the Great to rival Versailles. It lies on the southern shore of the Gulf of Finland, 22 miles west of St. Petersburg. The Grand Palace, built in the beginning of the 18th century, is known as the most brilliant of all the summer residences of the Russian Tsars. The estate construction spanned two centuries and upon its completion, it encompassed seven parks and more than 20 smaller palaces and pavilions. The layout of the 300 acre park and spectacular fountains was designed by Peter himself. The Grand Cascade, consists of three waterfalls, an avenue of 64 fountains and 37 gilded statues. Samson, the main attraction of Peterhof, is located at the base of the Great Cascade. During World War II, the estate was occupied and all the buildings and fountains were completely demolished. For many years, the palace and the Grand Cascade were under extensive restoration.
Now all guests of the city can enjoy the spectacular view of the fountains and the palace. After your tour of the Grand Palace, you’ll proceed to the magnificent gardens of the Low Park to admire the numerous fountains and statues of the Grand Cascade. As part of your Imperial tour experience, we have arranged a special hydrofoil boat transfer from Peterhof back to the city center, which will take you on a short 30 minute ride across the Gulf of Finland. After arriving back to town, you’ll be taken to the Spit of Vasilievsky Island, where you’ll enjoy views of the city including the Hermitage Museum and St. Peter and Paul Fortress, which you will tour next. Once inside the Peter and Paul Cathedral, you’ll be surrounded by marble columns, glittering chandeliers and painted decor, combined with carved and gilded iconostasis which create a magnificent setting for the tombs of Romanov monarchs. In July 1998, the remains of the last Russian Tsar Nicholas II and his family were also brought to the cathedral. The tour continues along the Neva embankment.

p>Take a short drive to the city center while your guide introduces you to the history of St. Petersburg. You’ll stop on the Spit of Vasilievsky Island for an opportunity to take in the views of the Neva River, the Rostral Columns, the Winter Palace and other buildings of the Hermitage Museum, as well as St. Peter and Paul Fortress, situated right across the river. The tour continues with a drive along the Neva River embankments, passing St. Peter and Paul Fortress. The tour will then take you to St. Isaac’s Cathedral for another photo opportunity and a tour of this remarkable building, one of the largest cathedrals in Europe and capable of accommodating 10,000 worshipers. The interior of the cathedral is richly decorated with different kinds of marble, malachite and other semiprecious stones. After, you’ll proceed to a dining venue for lunch.

This is a short and pleasant paddling experience to the magnificent Los Arcos, a dramatic natural rock that arches starkly out of the sea at Land’s End. You’ll be transported by van from the pier to the kayak launching area and geared up as your guide briefs you. Easy paddling of your two-person kayak will take you across the San Lucas Bay, an underwater park and marine sanctuary and to the famed Lover’s Beach, only accessible by water and one of the few beaches in the world that joins two seas: the Sea of Cortez and the Pacific Ocean. After you paddle back to the beach, you’ll return to the tender pier by van. Note: Participants must be at least 12 years of age and weigh no more than 220 lbs. This tour is not for pregnant women or guests with knee, back, neck or heart problems. Guests must be physically fit and able to paddle a kayak 1-1/2 miles. The State Hermitage is a museum of art and culture, one of the largest and oldest in the world. It was founded by Catherine the Great in 1764. Its collections, of which only a small part is on the permanent display, comprise nearly three million items. Today the Hermitage museum encompasses buildings on the Palace Embankment and its neighborhoods. The Hermitage Museum occupies the Winter Palace – the winter residence of the Russian Tsars, and four more buildings: the Little Hermitage – Catherine’s original collection – the Old Hermitage; the Hermitage Theater – Catherine’s private theater – and the New Hermitage. Catherine started her art collection in 1764 by purchasing paintings. Her collection consisted of Rembrandt, Rubens, Titian, Antoine van Dyck, Rafael and others.
In her lifetime Catherine's acquired paintings from old masters, books, engraved gems, drawings, coins and medals and a natural history collection. Later Russian emperors continued to expand the collection and in 1852 the Hermitage was opened to the public. Immediately after the Revolution of 1917 the Imperial Hermitage and the Winter Palace were proclaimed state museums. The range of the Hermitage exhibits was further expanded when private art collections from several palaces of the Russian Tsars and numerous private mansions were being nationalized.

Enjoy an exciting ATV adventure taking place at the native Mayan town of Cedral. Hop on your ATV and cruise through lush green forest, exploring ancient Mayan Caves, a cenote and a small Mayan ruin on trails specially made for ATV off-roading. After approximately 2 1/2 hours of rugged off-road fun we'll take a short van ride to one of Cozumel's most exquisite beaches to splash in its beautiful waters and rinse all the dirt off. Once at the beach, feel free to go shore snorkeling, relax, soak under the Caribbean sun or enjoy the restaurants facilities at your leisure. Note: Participants must be at least 6 years of age and at least 16 years of age to drive the ATV. Maximum weight is 320 lbs. Drivers must present a valid driver's license.
