Expanded Roles Signify Latest Enhancement to NCL's Business Development Group

Miami   -    Mar 28, 2007   ---

NCL Corporation announced today the next phase in ongoing enhancements to its North American sales organization with two key team members taking on expanded roles. The changes are being made to continue to meet the needs of all travel partners.

Terri Burke, currently vice president, business development, has expanded her role and is now responsible for all of North America Business Development (Sales). She continues to lead business development field sales, key accounts and channel development, as well as the strategic business development and analysis team. A travel industry veteran and a former travel agent, Burke assumes added responsibilities for business development services (inside sales), business development planning and charters, meetings and incentives.

During the past nine months, Burke has been instrumental in instituting key initiatives to better meet the needs of travel partners, including appointing NCL's first home-based manager and designating a department to serve home-based agents; instituting a Hawai`i webinar series to better educate travel partners on NCL America; and launching travel partner section of NCL's web site.

In addition, Brandon Townsley, national director of strategic business development and analysis, is now responsible for the business development services (inside sales) area which serves the business development sales team. With NCL for the past eight years, Townsley has acquired a keen insight into the needs of travel partners. He is tasked with redesigning this group to improve service overall for NCL's field sales team and the agent community.

"Continuous improvement has been our motto since announcing the first phase of our sales organization restructuring last May," said Scott Rogers, senior vice president of marketing and sales. "With Terri and Brandon's expanded roles, we will continue to innovate and improve our processes to better meet the needs of our travel partners."
