NCL Names Andy Stuart Chief Product Officer

20-year NCL veteran to lead F3 project team

NCL Corporation announced today that Andy Stuart has been named Executive Vice President and Chief Product Officer. In this role, Andy, who has been leading the Freestyle 2.0 initiative in his former role as Executive Vice President of Sales, Marketing and Passenger Services, has taken on a more broad-based responsibility for the delivery of the Freestyle Cruising product across the NCL fleet, ensuring that it provides exceptional value and quality for guests and is consistent with the marketing and brand positioning of the company.

Additionally, in his new role, Andy has assumed the role of F3 Project Chief which includes the planning, coordination and oversight of NCL's two new F3 ships, including design, building, commercial and marketing launch, product development and operational delivery. The F3 multidisciplinary project team now reports to Andy. A search is underway for an executive vice president, sales and marketing to assume Andy's responsibilities in the areas of sales, marketing and public relations.

Andy joined NCL in 1988 and served as the company's sales and marketing director in the United Kingdom until December 1996. He was named vice president of sales planning and relocated to the company's Miami headquarters in January 1997. He was promoted to senior vice president of passenger services in 1998, and in 1999, named senior vice president of NCL sales. In 2000, he was promoted to senior vice president of marketing and sales. In 2003, Andy was named executive vice president of marketing, sales and passenger services.
