Norwegian Jade's New Canary Islands Cruises On Sale Today

MIAMI ? May 18, 2011 ? Norwegian Cruise Line today announced the addition of a series of 15 nine-day Canary Island sailings on Norwegian Jade departing Barcelona, Spain beginning December 8, 2011. The cruise will call on Funchal, Madeira; Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Tenerife, Canary Islands; Arrecife, Lanzarote, Canary Islands; and Granada (Malaga), Spain along with spending four relaxing days at sea. Guests also have the option to board the ship in Granada (Malaga), Spain. These cruises go on sale today with balcony staterooms starting at $799 per person, based on double occupancy.

The Canary Islands offer a range of unique experiences from exploring the lunar landscapes of Timanfaya National Park home to the Fire Mountains and visiting the volcanic caves to see the rare Blind Albino crabs to discovering the dense metropolis of Santa Cruz with its unique urban sculptures.

The 2,402-passenger Norwegian Jade offers Norwegian's signature Freestyle Cruising which offers guests the ultimate in freedom and flexibility.
