Junior Stateroom Steward

Description:

Jr. Stateroom Stewards works closely and assists in the daily make up and turn down servicing of guest staterooms and environment.

Requirements:

• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Demonstrate passion for hospitatlity and customer service.
• Customer service oriented, self driven, responsible and problem solving skills.
• Must be organized and adaptable to change.

Education:

MInimum High School diploma. Some college related education preferable.

Experience:

Must have at least 2-years of experience in a hotel, resort or related experience onboard ships.

Responsibilities:

• Perfoms daily servicing of a section of rooms which includes, bathrooms, hallways, pantry box responsibilities, balconies, Linen and cleaning lockers.
• Through daily servicing of staterooms, provide frequent contact and service to guests in warm, friendly and polite manner.
• Supports the Stateroom Steward team by performing duties in a team efficient manner to meet and exceed the cleaning standards and guest expectations.
• Additional responsibilities will be provied.

Notes:

• This is a shipboard position working on assignment rotations of approximately 10 months on followed by 2 months off.
• All teammembers work 7-day work week with over 10 hours per day. This also includes a 24-hour on-call support as needed when onboard.
• All our crew members are provided flights between the home airport and the vessel, a room (shared), all meals, basic uniforms and more.
