Sorrento & Amalfi By Land & Sea

    Naples, Italy

    Duration 9 1/2 hrs

With its lush vegetation and sun drenched climate, Sorrento was a favorite resort of wealthy Romans. Experience this cliff-top setting and a charming, flower filled town and enjoy lunch with wine here before continuing to Salerno and the towards to the charming village of Amalfi. Amalfi is situated at the mouth of a deep gorge along the coast. Learn how this charming town was a major shipping port during the Middle Ages and an independent maritime state. Enjoy some free time in lovely Amalfi for shopping or relaxing before cruising to Salerno viewing the Dolomitic cliffs, which have been sculpted by nature. Your coach will be waiting in Salerno for the drive back.

    Need to Know:

Note: Guests must be able to walk approximately 0.28 miles over even surfaces with 5 - 10 steps. There are several steps to access the lunch venue. Due to traffic restrictions in Sorrento, a short walk from the motorcoach drop off point to the main center is required each way. Guests wishing to enter the Cathedral of St. Andrew on their own must manage approximately 60 or more steep steps. Additional walking during free time is at the guests' discretion. Dress in layers, wear comfortable walking shoes, hat and sunscreen and bring bottled water. The motor launch has both inside and outside seating. In case of bad weather and/or rough seas, the cruise portion of the tour will be canceled and replaced by a Naples orientation drive.
