No. Laundry service is available and charged either per item or by the bag, similar to when you stay at a hotel. It is typically a 24-hour turn around.

Take NCL pool towels on excursions?

Once pool towels are checked out, can they be taken on excursions?

Typically yes, since most travelers don't bring their own beach towels on a cruise with them. You can sign out towels. They usually have someone documenting your cabin number when you sign out/turn in towels. Just make sure that if you take towels with you on an excursion that you bring them back to the ship or you may be charged for towels. Same for the pool. There is a pool exchange by the pool. You turn in a wet one and you get a dry one back.

How noisy is 14th floor?

I'm looking at a room directly underneath the Sun Deck on 15th floor. I'm wondering if you can hear deck chairs scraping as people drag them across the deck?

Does the Breakaway have water fountains? If I wanted to bring my refillable water bottle?

No water fountains but there are waster dispensers in the buffet you can use. Staff will ask you to use a cup to fill with water first instead of putting your bottle directly on the dispenser.

Can anyone tell me about studio lounge for solo travelers or a review

The Studio Lounge is located within the Studios and is accessible to all decks the Studios are located on. The Studio Lounge has complimentary pastries, orange juice, and a self-serve espresso machine in the mornings. There is a happy hour each evening for one hour at 5pm (ship time). The singles host will post on a white board in the Studio Lounge the upcoming single meet-up activities so you can meet other singles onboard. In the evening, there's milk and cookies. You can only get to the Studio Lounge by entering the Studios via your keycard. There is plenty of places to sit whether at a table or at the bar.

Additional cost

HI-would like to know what activities on board cost above the cruise cost.. I know the casino, arcade and photos, etc..I am looking for like putt putt, pool tables, slides, etc..thanks

Pool tables are charged to your cabin by swiping your key card, just like an arcade game. Putt pull (mini golf) was free when we were on Breakaway, Escape, and Getaway. Slides and ropes course are free also. We've been on ships with the race track (separate charge) and laser tag (separate charge).

When can we board for an 11:00 PM departure

Our cruise departs out of New York with an 11:00 PM departure time on a Tuesday. The cruise is repositioning from Miami with no passengers and was wondering what time we will actually be able to board the ship.

I was on an 11PM departure out of New York last year and we began boarding about 4:00. It was complicated by the fact that there was another ship departing at 4:00, so your experience may differ. When you check in online you'll be given a selection of arrival times.
