Discover Cumbia Dancing & The Walled City

Watch a professional dance demonstration and try some moves yourself! Continue to the beautiful walled colonial city for a walking tour and enjoy some free time.

Your Cartagena experience begins at a salon located inside the Old Town, just a short drive from the pier. Upon arrival your guide will give you a short introduction to Colombian dance styles and a professional dance demonstration while you enjoy a traditional snack. You'll also have the opportunity to try some of the moves that you've seen.

Next, you'll continue on to the walled colonial city for a guided walking tour. You'll be provided a brief overview and your guide will lead you through the Main Plaza, Customs Plaza and Simon Bolivar Square. You'll then have an hour and a half of free time to explore this incredible city with its many cafes, art, bars and shops on your own. Stop at a museum, enjoy a cup of Colombian coffee or stroll along the beautiful streets as you admire the flower filled balconies and remarkable architecture. At the previously designated time and place, you'll rejoin your group for the transportation back to your ship.
