Anthony's Key Resort encourages you to try Scuba diving in this basic introduction to the sport and, as a PADI dive center you'll be learning to dive with the best! This scuba diving course takes you through a short video and classroom session on the theory and skills of diving. Then you'll get to practice those skills in shallow water first and then move on to do a 40 foot ocean dive. This session can be credited toward full PADI Open Water Certification.

Fly to the tiny isle of Grimsey to explore this northernmost inhabited part of Iceland which straddles the Arctic Circle. The flight from Akureyri airport takes just half an hour, but Grimsey might as well be a million miles away. Barely 100 souls reside here, along with the occasional polar bear dropping by from a drifting ice floe. Years ago, Grimsey was larger - but large chunks of it have tumbled into the sea over time and its residents have learned to make do with a diminishing land mass. Subsistence itself can be a challenge as a result, with islanders relying on locally caught seafood, scant imported goods and the most prized of edible island delicacies: bird eggs snatched by brave rappelers who clamber down Grimsey's sheer sea cliffs during the brief summer. While mentioned in the earliest of Icelandic sagas, this miniscule outpost's big claim to fame came late in the 19th century when the locals' exceptional prowess at chess captured the outside world's attention. Go figure.

Start your engines and hold on to your hats! Say hello to life on the open road as you journey around the island in a customized dune buggy convertible! You'll drive on a paved road along the coastline to the southern tip of Cozumel, passing the breathtaking blues of the Caribbean and the vivid greens of the tropical jungle.

You'll snorkel Cozumel's crystal clear waters during this off shore beginner's experience your whole family can enjoy. PADI certified guides will provide you with snorkeling gear, safety tips and instruction before leading you out to see the colorful tropical fish and marine life. After snorkeling, you'll continue to Explora Beach for some fun in the sun and a Mexican lunch. After approximately 1 1/2 hours here, you'll hop back into your buggy and return to your ship.

The lagoon on Harvest Caye is the perfect place to discover the fun and ease of kayaking. After a brief orientation on how to use your kayak, you're free to explore the lagoon on a self-guided tour.

Surround yourself in nature and let your senses heighten as you paddle past tropical landscapes watch for local wildlife. The lagoon and surrounding wetland make for a perfect escape from everyday life.

These horses will immediately put you at ease. The ride begins on an off-road trail from which the beautiful blue Caribbean Sea comes into view. When you reach the end of the trail, ride your horse right into the waters of the Caribbean Sea. The horses love a refreshing dip in the sea and you will love the thrill of the experience.

After the horseback riding, enjoy two hours of relaxing on a lounge chair and experience one of the best (and private) Caribbean beaches on the island.

The Osprey traverse gets its name from the bird of prey that is commonly seen perched on our decks and consist of 3 easy flights. The first flight south is the shortest traverse at 185 feet; it is also the tallest at 120 feet above the ground. We said it was easy, we didn't say it wouldn't be scary!

Start the second flight by be stepping off the platform 75-feet above the ground to soar some 850 feet to next landing perched just 75 feet above the ground.

Ascending a series of stairs takes you up to your launching pad for the final 900-foot zip to ground level back to where it all started.

At these heights the air is fresher, the colors are brighter, and the ground has never been so sweet.

OVERVIEW

Enjoy a close-up look at orphaned bears that have been rescued and are being rehabilitated so that they can live long, fulfilling lives. The venue for this immersion into the iconic bears of Alaska is the Fortress of the Bear, a rescue center that opened in 2007. Since that time, the center has cared for dozens of young orphaned bears and relocated them into caring environments. Circumstances prevent the bears from being released back into the wild. You can observe the brown and black bears from just 25 feet away, a rare opportunity that will make the experience all the more meaningful. The naturalists will explain how the bears were rescued, their personality traits and their daily routines, one of the highlights being feeding time. Their seasonal diets include everything from fish and fruit to peanut butter and honey. As you will see, the brown bears are noticeably larger than the black bears.

Imagine yourself flying through a tropical rainforest canopy over splashing streams and waterfalls on a seven-stage zipline course with a view of the crystal blue Pacific Ocean in the distance.

You'll be surrounded by natural beauty as you hike from one line to the next. A portion of the hike is on a suspension bridge that cuts through the jungle with several small waterfalls below. This course was created to provide a safe and fun environment for the entire family. All lines are ground-to-ground making it easier for all to participate.

After your zip line adventure, enjoy a relaxing stroll through the World Botanical Gardens and the soothing view of a cascading waterfall.

Explore unspoiled trails where flowers and butterflies give way to the shade of the tropical forest canopy. Make the crossing over Gumbalimba Pond via a scenic rope bridge. Delight in the tranquil sounds of the garden waterfall. Befriend the brilliant winged inhabitants of the Bird Sanctuary where friendly parrots and macaws bring the colors of the Caribbean alive. Ever dreamt of frolicking with monkeys? Enter the Monkey Refugio and meet the white face capuchin monkeys.

Roam through the Botanical Garden and learn more about the native exotic plants. Enter into the Insectarium and discover the world of insects. After exploring, dive into the freshwater pool or take a dip in the Caribbean. Come to Gumbalimba where history and nature awaits you.

OVERVIEW

Discover the natural beauty and quirkiness of the island's North Shore through vastly different and revealing experiences. While browsing the boutiques in the former sugar plantation town of Pa'ia, you will get a genuine sense of its laid-back, bohemian ambiance. The shops tend to be colorful, somewhat eclectic and full of merchandise that you won't find elsewhere as it is often made locally. A leisurely one-mile walk through a nearby rainforest will bring you to two waterfalls, one of them is Twin Falls, a gorgeous cascade that plummets into a serene pool where you may swim if you wish. The setting couldn't be more relaxing or picturesque. The beauty of Ho'okipa Beach Park is equally captivating, especially the scene offshore as this is a premier spot for surfing and windsurfing because the waves are well-formed and sometimes reach heights of 30 feet. The beach is also one of the best places to see green sea turtles.

OVERVIEW

Zip through the Bay of Kotor in a sleek speedboat to three locales named for the Virgin Mary. As the engine roars to life and the speedboat races up the bay, the thrills will begin in earnest. You will soon disembark at the baroque-style Our Lady's Temple in the village of Prčanj. The serene setting will offer quite the contrast to the exhilaration of the ride. Ornate columns adorn the temple façade, the entry features a glorious double staircase and the two gilded altars are masterworks. The boat ride will continue to Our Lady of the Rocks, a miniscule manmade islet with a chapel renowned for its 15th-century icon of the Virgin Mary and a Carrara marble altar. One last tribute to the Virgin Mary awaits - Our Lady of the Angels, a centuries-old church within a fortified complex that once protected the bay from pirates. After browsing the interior, you will snack on canapés.
