Enjoy the thrill of a 12-line canopy adventure with magnificent views of the Caribbean Sea! Your day of adventure begins at the pier when you're greeted by your friendly guide. Board your air-conditioned transfer for a 25 minute drive through towns and villages on the island. Your guide will share with you important information about the culture, nature and people of Roatan.

Upon arrival to the South Shore Canopy site, you'll be geared up with safety equipment, receive a safety briefing and then have your first photo opportunity. Once everyone is geared up and familiar with the safety regulations, you're ready for your adventure. The longest run is 1,300 feet, the highest point is 100 feet, and the total line length is about 2 miles. The tour will take between 60 and 90 minutes to complete, after which you 'll have some free time for photos and souvenir shopping before heading back to the pier.

Everybody loves friendly Rays! Enjoy two great ray activities -a personal encounter plus shore-side snorkeling. Then relax and have fun at a private shore club with its resident, friendly critters, and water trampoline. Mere minutes from your ship, you'll be provided with snorkeling gear and briefed on equipment and the rays. Your guide works with small groups to give you personal attention.

First, you'll encounter the rays in a shallow area and get to feed them if you like. Then, you'll move to a larger area for snorkeling with a larger school of rays, nurse sharks, and all their colorful fish friends. Finally, you'll have some beach club leisure time, complete with a snack bar, souvenirs and photos available to complete your experience.

After departing from the pier, you will soon arrive at a beach club in Mahahual, a small fishing village rimmed by sugary, white sand beaches and clear turquoise seas. It's an ideal, laid-back setting for the leisurely kayaking experience that awaits you.

Upon boarding the two-person kayak, you will head out into the crystal-clear water and enjoy a unique perspective of the coastline and the wonders below through the kayak's clear bottom. Feel free to paddle along at your own pace, taking in the sights that interest you the most.

Looking back from the typically calm sea, you will gaze out over an idyllic tropical landscape, huge stretches of pristine sand, and coconut palms swaying in the breeze. This is Mexico at its purest, a natural paradise where nothing more ambitious than relaxing is expected of you.

Following your kayaking adventure, you will have the opportunity to enjoy the white sands of the beach club. A complimentary plate of fresh fruit and an icy beverage will provide a great welcome, after which you may relax however your please.

You might take a refreshing swim in the Caribbean, meander along the beach, lie in the sun and admire the tropical scenery or simply sit in the shade with a good book. You may even spend some time shopping before returning to the pier.

Ride horseback through the north shore's lush countryside and snorkel the crystal-clear waters off one of the island's premier beachfront resorts. Turquoise Bay Dive & Beach Resort will be the setting for your outdoor adventure, and it couldn't be prettier as the property sits atop a hillside overlooking the Caribbean Sea. You will be paired with a horse suited to your riding ability and follow a gently winding trail through the jungle-like setting that surrounds the resort. Although you will catch glimpses of the sea while horseback riding, you will truly experience it while snorkeling just off shore. These waters are teeming with marine life, so you can expect quite the underwater show. Brightly colored species such as parrotfish, Atlantic blue tangs and angelfish are commonly spotted. You will soar through the treetops along a spectacularly scenic route that is nearly two miles long. Each zipline is exhilarating in its own way with the longest spanning 1,300 feet and highest starting more than 100 feet high above the jungle floor. You can expect it to be a nonstop adrenaline-pumping experience, quite the contrast to your time on West Bay Beach. The stretch of sand fronting the Paradise Beach Hotel will be yours to enjoy however you please. Feel free to do nothing more ambitious than relax in sun without a care in the world. The water there is typically calm, crystal-clear and ideal for a refreshing swim in the sea. If you wish to dine on your own, plenty of restaurants are in easy walking distance.

Cruise to Blue Lagoon Island on a sleek double-decker ferry for an up-close encounter with Atlantic bottlenose dolphins at an American Humane-certified facility. Upon arriving at the island, which is also known as Salt Cay, you will first learn about the characteristics and behavior of dolphins, such as how they communicate and use echolocation to hunt prey. Once in the water, you will stand on a waist-deep submerged platform that allows easy access to these highly intelligent marine mammals. A trainer will be on hand to recommend the best ways to interact with and touch the dolphins. You can expect an unforgettable experience as dolphins are naturally curious and social. During the two hours or so of beach time that follows, you might settle into a lounge chair and bask in the sun, take a refreshing swim, and snorkel in the turquoise sea. There are also shops in the Bahamian village nearby.

Soar through a tropical forest on two exhilarating zip-lines and enjoy a meandering walk through the jungle on a nature trail with towering suspension bridges.

After departing from the pier, you will take a leisurely drive through the emerald-green countryside to the area's only extreme adventure park. Upon arriving, you will learn how to maximize your experience during a brief orientation.

You can then participate in three different activities, each thrilling in its own way. You may begin by strolling through the jungle canopy, much of it along suspension bridges and wooden boardwalks. From this vantage point high above the jungle floor, you can expect to see splashes of colorful flowers clinging to vine-draped trees, chirping tropical birds flitting through the air, and creatures such as iguanas and lizards perched on the branches.

A more adrenaline-pumping adventure awaits you on the zip line, which involves sitting in a harness and darting through the treetops from platform to platform. For the ultimate thrill, try the Zuperman Zip. It is the area's only forward-facing zip line with a special harness that allows you to fly through the air headfirst like Superman. Afterwards, you will return to the pier in Roatan.

Your guide will meet you at the Kayak Center to escort you to the staging area for an orientation and safety instruction. The protected waters of Port Frederick are yours to explore as you set off from the beach at Icy Strait Point in your two person wilderness sea kayak. Led by your safety certified, local guide, you'll paddle along the Hoonah waterfront enroute to quieter waters where bald eagles are often seen. Keep your eyes open and your spirit of adventure high throughout this 2 1/2 hour tour as humpback whales have been known to feed along the very same route you'll be paddling.

Discover the lasting influence of King Kamehameha by exploring sites that were of great importance when he ruled Hawaii. Kamehameha is revered for uniting the Hawaiian Islands into one kingdom in 1810. About a decade earlier, the volcano Hualalai erupted, leaving hardened lava in its wake. While walking atop this rugged landscape, you will see petroglyphs and ingenious fishponds that the early Hawaiians created. Not far off, you will find a lava-rock temple built in the 18th century to fulfill a prophecy that Kamehameha would unite the islands. It is known as House of the Whale for the humpbacks often spotted just offshore. Following a simple lunchbox style meal at a statue of Kamehameha that was erected near his birthplace in Kohala, you will be free to explore Hawi, an artistic community with all sorts of eclectic shops. You will also tour a macadamia factory and sample these iconic Hawaiian-grown nuts.
