Following an orientation briefing, you will embark the raft and head downriver. If you are feeling ambitious, you may paddle along with your guide. If not, simply settle into the raft and enjoy the natural beauty in the shadow of Mendenhall Glacier as the guide does all the paddling. Your kayak adventure along Juneau's coast begins with a short drive by bus to North Douglas Island, where you’ll enjoy scenic views of the Mendenhall Glacier. Here, your guide will hand out life jackets and rain gear before teaching you paddling techniques. OVERVIEW

Cruise through the mangroves around Harvest Caye on a Funcat electric catamaran that allows you to stretch out comfortably on the lounge seat and really enjoy the scenery. The covered catamaran has room for two, so you can be the captain or the passenger. Although you will be briefed on how to operate the catamaran, there’s really not much to it. Just use the controls on the armrest to go forward or backward. Steering is a breeze, too. Best of all, the catamaran is solar-powered, so there are no emissions and little noise from the electric engine. That way, you can come remarkably close to the wildlife without disturbing the animals in the mangrove-lined saltwater estuaries. Water birds are especially prevalent, so look for egrets, teals and ducks. The mangroves provide a highly protective habitat for birds and their complex root system serves as a nursery for marine life.

The Island Zipline Adventure course is a combination of the Osprey Zipline plus the Seahawk Zip to give you six high-flying zips plus a series of V-net bridges, chimney climbs and cargo nets, designed to challenge but not overwhelm your physical and mental strength. Tour starts with an elevator ride to the top of the Flight house.

With platforms at 120-feet above ground and top speed of over 50 mph, your senses will be dazed with adrenaline as you zip out over the beach and reef of Great Stirrup Cay. The V nets allow you to traverse from one zipline to another while providing you with bird’s-eye view of your fellow guests, the many islands to the South or the turquoise waters and their inhabitants below.

It is off to the historic and magnificent White Pass Train adventure. From an antique parlor car, enjoy the incredible scenery while your tour guide shares the stories and history of the Klondike Gold Rush. Upon reaching Fraser, British Columbia board your motorcoach and take a short trip to the Yukon Suspension Bridge. Then it’s time to experience the country that you heard about! Breathe pristine air, taste wild berries in season, hear the roar of raging white water and thrill to the sensations of a swaying walkway over 60 feet above the rapids. Paddle a kayak through the sheltered waters of the Bay of Kotor, admiring the natural beauty of the fjord-like landscape and the walled medieval city of Kotor.

After a short walk from the pier, you will arrive at the kayak station for a brief orientation to ensure that you will get the most out of this outdoor experience. You will then ease into a kayak and paddle out into the magnificent Bay of Kotor, known locally as “Boka.”

Sheltered by limestone mountains, the water is typically calm and ideal for kayaking. The landscape in every direction will be immensely picturesque with cliffs so precipitous that the bay is often referred to as the southernmost fjord in Europe. It’s that stunningly beautiful.

From the sea-level vantage point of the kayak, you will enjoy a unique perspective of Kotor. You will clearly see the medieval defensive walls that protected the city for centuries and the spires of historical churches that dot the distinctive skyline. UNESCO considers the city so culturally important that it has named Kotor a “World Natural and Historical Heritage Site.”

Board your private transportation for a journey through Road Town. Drive along Ridge Road with amazing views over the north coast of the island. After a brief photo stop to view the islands of Guana, Great Camanoe and Anegada, you’ll drive westward to the Original Virgin Canopy Tour base camp. After a quick restroom break, the friendly staff will outfit you with your gear. Following a brief orientation and safety talk, you’ll arrive at the take-off point of the tour. The tour including the outfitting and safety talk and the 7 traverse and other challenge components, will take approximately 1 to 1 1/4 hours, depending on group size and other factors. Experience two exhilarating rides at the Mystic Mountain eco-adventure park as a warm-up to visiting the natural wonder Dunn’s River Falls. Covered by rainforest, Mystic Mountain rises 700 feet above the sea and the views on the way up are extraordinary. You will ascend on the Sky Explorer, an open-air chair-lift much like the ones used at ski resorts. The higher you ascend, the more thrilling the ride and the more spectacular the views. At the summit, you will hop in a bobsled patterned after the one that Jamaica’s Olympic team rode in the 1988 Winter Olympics. The big difference is that this bobsled follows a twisting track through the dense rainforest. Take the helm of your own Rigid Inflatable Boat or RIB and zip through the turquoise waters off the northern coast of Tortola to Guana Island. After a briefing to ensure that you maximize the experience, you will follow the guide in a two-person RIB. You can be the captain or ride along as the passenger. The choice is yours. Either way, it will be exhilarating as you race through the sea caravan-style toward Guana Island, most of which is a natural reserve. Along the way, you might pause for the guide to point out and describe the highlights of other islands. You will disembark on White Bay, the longest stretch of sand on privately owned Guana Island, which is supposedly named for a promontory that resembles an iguana’s head. After a brief orientation to help you maximize the experience, you will be free to enjoy the club’s amenities, which are considerable and all offered for your enjoyment. You might stretch out on a lounge chair and bask in the sun, take a refreshing swim in the sea and gather around the thatched-roof poolside bar, which will be open for unlimited drinks the entire time. One end of the Beach Escape is typically busier and more party-oriented, while the other end by the pier is quieter, allowing you to easily find an ideal spot to make the most of your free time. If you wish to explore offshore, kayaks are available. There is no better way to experience Alaska’s rugged terrain than by driving an ATV (All-Terrain Vehicle) through the forests and mountains on Chichagof Island. Following a short orientation on how best to operate an ATV in the Alaskan wilderness, you will set off on your outdoor adventure. The entire island (America’s fifth largest) lies within the limits of the 17-million-acre Tongass National Forest, which has the distinction of being America’s largest national forest. The terrain ranges from seaside estuaries to alpine mountain peaks, and you will have plenty of chances to stop and view the gorgeous scenery. With its remote location and limited accessibility, Chichagof is home to some of the animals most often associated with Alaska. In fact, the island has the world’s largest brown bear population, estimated to be three bears per square mile. You might also see bald eagles soaring above, land otters, Sitka black-tail deer and red squirrels.

As you meander through the most historical areas of Nassau, the guide will describe its often tumultuous past when pirates such as the notorious Blackbeard ruthlessly raided merchant ships in the surrounding waters. You too will cruise these seas on the way to the private island Salt Cay. As you will discover during a walking tour there, 18th-century pirates and privateers harvested salt from its lagoon to preserve their food. Be sure to notice the defensive tower and cannons that once guarded the entrance to Nassau Harbor. Walk through a series of inland caves formed eons ago and admire the island’s natural beauty while driving along the coast. Pirates once used the Crystal Caves as hideouts and legend has it that treasures are still buried in their depths. While following a winding trail through the ancient caverns, you will see eerily illuminated stalactites and stalagmites, a glass-smooth underground lake and a cave whose ceiling collapsed ages ago. The guide will describe how the caves were formed and the wonders that lie within them. Back on the surface, you will settle in for a panoramic coastal drive, during which you will pause for photos at the Wreck of the Ten Sail memorial. It commemorates the convoy 10 British ships that wrecked on the reefs just offshore in 1794 in a massive maritime disaster. You will also stop to witness the coastal blowholes that spew ocean water as high as 20 feet into the air.

Learn about, meet and interact with the most beloved mammal in the ocean - the bottlenose dolphin. Upon arrival, you’ll meet the trainers for an educational briefing. This program takes place in approximately 20-foot-deep water, in small groups of no more than 10, so everyone has the opportunity to meet the dolphins while in the water and to ask questions. Snorkel the crystal-clear waters of Magens Bay, an idyllic spot where sea turtles and other marine animals are frequently spotted. Wealthy financier Arthur Fairchild, who once owned Magens Bay, deeded the property to the U.S. Virgin Islands in the mid-20th century and stipulated how its natural beauty must be sustained. It remains one of the most photogenic and pristine places in the Caribbean as you will discover while snorkeling its typically calm waters and enjoying its crescent-shaped beach. The guide will lead you to areas that green and hawksbill sea turtles inhabit so you can snorkel alongside these graceful swimmers. Greens are the largest of all hard-shelled turtles, while hawksbills are the smallest of the sea turtles.
