Tucked away in the Azores islands, Horta is a popular stop for boats crossing the Atlantic. It's easy to see why, there's something for everyone here. If you're looking for an outdoor adventure full of greenery, cliffs and volcanos, visit the Vulcão dos Capelinhos, where an eruption in the 1950s actually extended the island and buried a lighthouse in ash.
