Norwegian's Cruise Line's U.S.-flagged vessel, Pride of America, is currently undergoing a complete transformation during a dry dock in San Francisco as a part of $400 million investment programme, The Norwegian Edge™. Many of the ship's public areas are being fully refinished from top to bottom including restaurants, the ship's pool deck, and bars and lounges. All staterooms will have a brand new look and the ship will welcome new venues including Dolce Gelato, Perspectives Photo Studio and an expanded Soho Art Gallery.

Due to prolonged poor weather conditions while Pride of America was in dry dock in San Francisco, the final work on select spaces aboard the ship will not be complete by the ship's original departure date. The Mandara Spa will remain closed and final work will be completed on select open decks during the ship's cruise from San Francisco. The ship will offer select spa services during the voyage.

In order to provide the best guest experience, Norwegian Cruise Line will be delaying the ship's departure from San Francisco by one day, now departing on March 16, 2016 with embarkation beginning at 3:00 p.m. This schedule change will not affect the ship's itinerary in Hawaii. Guests will be refunded one day of their cruise fare and service charges, as well as receive a 25% future cruise credit to show our appreciation for their understanding. Norwegian will also cover up to $300 in airline change fees for affected guests. Guests booked on this cruise who need to make air arrangements or have questions can contact Norwegian's guest services at 877-461-1160. Guests who choose not to proceed with the cruise are able to cancel without penalty.

We thank our guests for their understanding and patience while we complete this essentially new ship that will cruise the island of Hawaii year-round from Honolulu.
