OVERVIEW
Spend the day relaxing on the beach doing whatever you please without a care in the world. A short walk will bring you to the Snorkel Park Beach Club on the tip of fishhook-shaped Bermuda that lies between the Great Sound and the Atlantic Ocean. One of the club’s ambassadors will get you settled at your reserved single lounger, which makes an ideal home base. The rest of the day is yours to enjoy however you wish. Stretch out on the lounger and bask in the sun. Walk along the beach at the edge of the shore and take a refreshing swim in the sea. Spend as much time as you want on your chosen activities, as there is no schedule to follow or need to rush. Included is a complimentary welcome rum swizzle and 3 hours complimentary use of a snorkel and mask A beachfront restaurant is on site for dining on your own, and plenty of water sports such as snorkeling and kayaking are available with special pricing.

Tucked away in Bermuda’s East End lies an unspoiled hidden paradise of pristine beaches. A representative will greet you on the pier outside of your ship and direct you to Norwegian’s direct tender to St. George’s. Once you arrive in St. George’s, you will be greeted by a charismatic and knowledgeable local guide and escorted onto comfortable mini buses. From there, you will be treated to a guided sightseeing tour on the way to Clearwater Beach in St. David's. When you arrive at Clearwater beach, this will be your base and you will be given an orientation on the facilities of Clearwater, as well as the locations of the 5 other walkable beaches in the area. Visit Bermuda’s first capital and see what a British colonial outpost looked like in the 1600’s when touring the historic 'Ol Towne of St. George's’.

Included is the admissions to the Fort St. Catherine; meander through the dark passageways and wander through the magazines where swords and pistols are on display, take advantage of the stunning views from high a top this grand fortress. A stop in the heart of the Ol Towne of St. George's allows for a visit to the oldest Anglican Church of the Western Hemisphere, St. Peter’s Church.

On adjacent St. David’s Island, once known as the US Air Force Base lands, you’ll discover the charm of this unique and enchanting community as you enjoy the imposing views of the Atlantic Ocean from St. David's Lighthouse.

After a short shuttle to the beach site and after receiving some safety instructions, you’ll board your stable sit-on-top double kayaks for a fully-guided and narrated shoreline tour. Hear enlightening commentary about the British overseas territory of Bermuda on a scenic drive to a resort in Somerset Village, where you will indulge in a traditional English tea. The British influence will be apparent most everywhere you go, beginning with the Royal Naval Dockyard. It was established as a British base of operations between Nova Scotia and the West Indies after the English were defeated in the American Revolution, and it was used militarily until abandoned in the 1980s. Bermuda’s first settlers were British – although they arrived inadvertently after being shipwrecked in 1609 – and the self-governing archipelago still follows a parliamentary system based on the United Kingdom’s. OVERVIEW

Enjoy a panoramic drive along Bermuda’s picturesque southern shore with stops along the way at the most alluring attractions. After crossing the world’s smallest drawbridge, you will travel past a lengthy nature reserve in surprisingly bucolic Somerset Village, around the Great Sound and on to Gibbs Hill Lighthouse. Climb the spiral staircase of this whitewashed beacon – the world’s oldest cast-iron lighthouse – and you will be treated to 360° views of southern Bermuda. As you will notice while pausing at some of the loveliest beaches that rim the southern shores, they feature pink sand. The magnificent pastel hue comes from a combination of white limestone sediment and red single-cell organisms called foraminifera. Pastels also dominate Hamilton, Bermuda’s winsome capital, especially along Front Street. The colors beautifully complement the harbor’s turquoise water. During free time in Hamilton, you might shop in the one-of-a-kind stores or simply meander about enjoying the stylish ambiance.

Explore the geological wonders and eerie formations in Crystal Caves and then spend hours relaxing at a series of beaches linked by footpaths and surrounded by a nature reserve.

After departing from the pier, you will enjoy a leisurely tender ride to St. George’s Island, the northernmost point of hook-shaped Bermuda. A short scenic drive will bring you to Crystal Caves, which were discovered in 1907 when a teenager tried to retrieve his cricket ball from a hole and found it led to a huge series of caverns.

You will have the opportunity to explore the wonders underground, which include a crystal-clear lake and a profusion of white stalactites eerily illuminated for added drama. Parts of the caves are accessed along a pontoon boardwalk that floats atop the lake, allowing a closer look at the geological formations underwater. As an alternative, you may remain above ground and meander the gardens and browse the gift shop.

. Continuing, you will soon arrive at the Clearwater Beach & Cooper’s Island Reserve, a secluded wedge of undeveloped land on Bermuda’s eastern end. The area contains six interconnected beaches, an idyllic setting to enjoy hours relaxing in the sun, doing whatever you please.

A combination of both shallow water and deep-water interaction, your swim experience will start with an introduction to these amazing mammals followed by a 20 minute hands on interaction and swim with the dolphins. Learn about conservation and the value of your participation during the shallow water portion of your experience, where you are seated waist-high on a submerged platform and the dolphins rest on your lap. Maximize your time in Bermuda on this great combination tour! First, enjoy sightseeing the rural west end of the island during your short shuttle ride to Somerset Island. Here you'll be provided a Trek Mountain Bike and equipped with a durable bike helmet. After receiving instruction on riding and safety, you'll begin your guided cycle tour along the original Bermuda Railway Trail.

During your bike ride, your guide will stop at various points of interest along the mostly flat trail, and provide informative commentary along the way. You'll also enjoy spectacular scenery along the trail, and time permitting you'll have the opportunity to hike up to the historic Fort Scaur and view the sprawling 17th century Mott Family estate. After your ride, cool off with a refreshing swim at a private, calm water beach.

Get an introduction to Bermuda’s marine life by snorkeling. This shoreline cruise takes you to the pristine Sea Gardens, and the shipwreck of the Vixen, a fantastic habitat for a variety of fish and other marine life. This jet-powered, glass bottom boat allows you to view it all, up close, in safe, dry comfort. Departing the reef, you’ll pause at the nearby sea grass beds, where you may spot a few of the many transient turtles.

Then, you’ll head for one of the many shoreline snorkel sites that line the western side of the island, where your boat will set anchor. Here you may take some of the boat's snorkel gear and explore the shoreline or wade ashore and relax in the shallows. Island tunes and a complimentary Rum Swizzle on the return boat cruise complete the perfect family fun day.

Join the crew on your snorkel boat, as your Captain sets course for the wreck of the 'Constellation', a shipwreck made world-famous by the film "The Deep". Three decades later, there is even more beautiful coral and fish surrounding the shipwreck. The wreck lies in only 20 feet of water, but is six miles off the north coast of Bermuda. The views are as breathtaking above the water, as they are below. After a full snorkel instruction and safety briefing, you’ll have approximately 45 minutes to explore the 'Constellation', as well as the nearby wreck of the 'Montana'. The Captain will then sound the horn, and prepare to cruise to your next snorkel location, a beautiful and secluded cluster of the world's most healthy coral reef. You’ll have another half hour to venture out and explore the underwater world before making the way back to your ship. In the event of inclement sea conditions, captain reserves the right to substitute with an inshore reef site.

OVERVIEW

Cruise along Bermuda’s western shore in a sleek catamaran and enjoy free time snorkeling and swimming off one of the sandbars. While cruising, you will hear entertaining stories about the history of Royal Naval Dockyard and how Bermuda has evolved since its founding in 1612. The scenery will be extraordinary the entire way, but especially once the catamaran anchors in the shallows. You will be free to swim in the crystal-clear waters and snorkel the coral reefs, which are teeming with marine life. Bright blue tangs, queen triggerfish and reddish squirrelfish are frequently spotted. You may even catch sight of hawksbill and green sea turtles gracefully swimming by. If you are looking for a little more activity, kayaks and paddleboards are available. Another highlight will be stopping to feed the fish gathered around the H.M.S Vixen, a ship that became an artificial reef after the British Royal Navy intentionally scuttled it in 1896.

OVERVIEW

Observe the wonders underwater through the transparent bottom of your kayak while paddling through the sheltered waters off Ely’s Harbour in the West End. After a brief orientation to ensure that you maximize the experience, you will ease into a two-person kayak and paddle off into the harbor’s typically calm and clear waters. You will glide past shores lined with environmentally friendly mangroves, pause to admire the dramatically eroded cliff known Cathedral Rock and gaze out over Wreck Hill, where the Sea Venture supposedly wrecked in 1609 stranding its English crew and passengers. You may also paddle around the beach-rimmed islands that dot the natural harbor and stop to swim. Even so, the most unusual part of this adventure is watching the marine life through the kayak’s clear bottom. You may see brightly colored blue angelfish, striped sergeant majors, princess parrotfish and spotted eagle rays, all of which are native to Bermuda.

Walk the cobblestone streets of thoroughly charming St. George, the oldest inhabited town of English origin in the New World. Because of that distinction, UNESCO named St. George a World Heritage site and it is well worth exploring. The guide will elaborate on the town’s intriguing past as you tour one landmark after another, beginning with the Tucker House, a family home that hasn’t changed one iota since being built in 1750, you will then learn about the origins of the island at the Towne Hall. The Mitchell House was built even earlier and is now a museum full of extraordinary artifacts. As you explore the State House, you will hear details about Bermuda’s Parliament, which met there for nearly 200 years until Bermuda’s capital moved to Hamilton. Other highlights include St. Peter’s Church, the Globe Hotel – the headquarters of a notorious Confederate arms runner during the Civil War – and Somers Garden, a lush greenspace named for Admiral George Somers, who is considered to be the founder of Bermuda.

Cruise along Bermuda’s west end shoreline toward an unforgettable snorkeling experience. Bermuda is home to over 200 square miles of the Atlantic’s most northerly fringe reef. Although beautiful, the reef is treacherous and there have been over 300 shipwrecks to prove it. On this trip you’ll visit two of Bermuda’s most famous shipwrecks, the Constellation and the Montana. They are home to an abundance of coral and fish and they are situated on the very edge of the surrounding reef.

The Captain will provide you with an overview on the history on Bermuda and some of its shipwrecks. Upon arrival to the site, you’ll be issued with snorkel equipment and given a safety briefing on how you may best enjoy up to one hour of safe snorkeling. Finally, enjoy one complimentary Rum Swizzle or soft drink on the return trip to your ship.

Cruise to Hamilton and explore the capital however you please by shopping on your own, enjoying a walking tour. After departing from the pier, you will soon settle in for a delightful cruise across the Great Sound, a body of impossibly turquoise water that fills the bend in the is lFgland’s distinctive fishhook shape. A coral reef at the mouth of the sound shelters the inner waters, making for a typically calm cruise to the pastel-colored capital of Hamilton. Upon disembarking, you will have several options. If you choose to shop on your own, you can expect to find one-of-a-kind jewelry, vivid artwork celebrating the island life, and classic Bermuda shorts in every color of the rainbow. You might also pick up a tasty treat like rum cake or a jar of jam flavored with Scotch bonnet peppers. Another option is to split your time between exploring on your own and an enlightening walking tour of Hamilton. Either way, you may see the glorious Cathedral of the Most Holy Trinity, leafy Victoria Park and the Bermuda National Gallery, a showcase for centuries of outstanding island artwork.

Your driver will pick-up shipside and shortly after exiting the Royal Naval Dockyard complex your drive takes you through quaint Somerset Village and over Somerset Bridge, the smallest drawbridge in the world. Admire Bermuda’s stunning natural beauty along the way, as you carry-on along breathtaking South Shore Road. Tour bus will pull-over at laybys dotted along this drive for photo opportunities and views of famous Horseshoe Bay and other pink sand beaches. Re-joining your buses the route takes a coastline drive along the North Shore to soon arrive at famed Front Street, the busiest place on the island and life and soul of the lively capitol, City of Hamilton. Time allows for shopping and browsing in the boutique style shops and souvenir store-fronts lining Hamilton Harborfront.

Bermuda is the northern tip of the triangle, whose other points are Miami and Puerto Rico, and the waters in between are legendary for their unnatural occurrences. You will gaze out over the sea from Fort Scaur, a late 19th-century fortress that offers an extraordinary 360° view of Bermuda. The Unlock the Secrets exhibit at the Bermuda Underwater Exploration Institute may unravel some of the most puzzling aspects of the Bermuda Triangle. Another exhibit will allow you to investigate some of the triangle’s strange phenomena on a simulated dive to an airplane graveyard at the bottom of the sea.
