Drive a sleek Polaris Slingshot around the Space Coast, stopping along the way for photos and to enjoy some of the area’s most popular attractions. The Slingshot is an open-top three-wheel roadster that’s a cross between a motorcycle and a convertible. The vehicle is a thrill to drive and you can expect heads to turn as you zip down the road caravan-style behind the guide. You will pause to snap photos at the Canaveral Lock, which controls the tidal flow into the port, and at the Vehicle Assembly Building where NASA put together components for the space shuttles and Saturn V rockets. You will have the chance to stretch your legs at Cocoa Village, where you will be free to shop and grab a snack at one of the restaurants. More beautiful coastal scenery awaits on the drive down Tropical Trail and across one of the last swing bridges that the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers ever built.
