Join this fishing adventure amidst the pristine beauty of Chilkoot Lake. You’ll be greeted and taken to a small boat harbor to board your ferry, for the approximate 35 minute journey to Haines. Listen to the stories of Skagway, Haines, and upper Lynn Canal while keeping an eye out for seals, whales, and other sea life. Upon arrival in Haines, you’ll be transported via bus approximately 10 miles to Chilkoot Lake.

Everyone is in control of their own rod and reel, but your experienced guides will take care of the baiting, netting and tangled lines so you can enjoy every minute of your adventure. A mix of lures and bait are used to entice the Dolly Varden, Sockeye, and Pink Salmon on this one of a kind excursion. Keep a look out for wildlife, including majestic bald eagles and brown bears that make this picturesque valley home. All gear, rods, reels, bait, lures, snacks, some rain gear, and safety equipment are provided. Just bring your appetite for adventure!
