The Mitchell House was built even earlier and is now a museum full of extraordinary artifacts to be viewed up close. As you explore the interior of The State House, you will hear details about Bermuda’s Parliament, which met there for nearly 200 years until Bermuda’s capital moved to Hamilton. Embark on a dynamic tour of Kings Wharf and surrounding area on a two-wheeled Segway vehicle. Roll past the Royal Naval Dockyard’s historic sites and explore Bermuda’s maritime history as the Clocktower Mall, Casemates Prison and the National Museum are pointed out. The tour leaves Dockyard and takes you to stops along the coastline and beaches. This is the perfect time for photos. You will learn how to use and navigate your self-balancing personal electric vehicle before setting out on the tour. This tour is a unique way to see and experience Bermuda and provides ample opportunity for photos.

After a short shuttle to the beach site and after receiving some safety instructions, you’ll board your stable sit-on-top double kayaks for a fully-guided and narrated shoreline tour. Your guide will pick the best location and tour route where you’ll enjoy views of rocky coastlines, uninhabited islands and beaches. Along the way your guide will point out coastline creatures such as Bermuda long tails, egrets, herons, and various crustaceans. After crossing the world’s smallest drawbridge, you will travel past a lengthy nature reserve in surprisingly bucolic Somerset Village, around the Great Sound and on to Gibbs Hill Lighthouse. Climb the spiral staircase of this whitewashed beacon – the world’s oldest cast-iron lighthouse – and you will be treated to 360° views of southern Bermuda. As you will notice while pausing at some of the loveliest beaches that rim the southern shores, they feature pink sand. The magnificent pastel hue comes from a combination of white limestone sediment and red single-cell organisms called foraminifera. Pastels also dominate Hamilton, Bermuda’s winsome capital, especially along Front Street. The colors beautifully complement the harbor’s turquoise water. During free time in Hamilton, you might shop in the one-of-a-kind stores or simply meander about enjoying the stylish ambiance.

Join the crew on your snorkel boat, as your Captain sets course for the wreck of the 'Constellation', a shipwreck made world-famous by the film "The Deep". Three decades later, there is even more beautiful coral and fish surrounding the shipwreck. The wreck lies in only 20 feet of water, but is six miles off the north coast of Bermuda. The views are as breathtaking above the water, as they are below. After a full snorkel instruction and safety briefing, you’ll have approximately 45 minutes to explore the 'Constellation', as well as the nearby wreck of the 'Montana'. The Captain will then sound the horn, and prepare to cruise to your next snorkel location, a beautiful and secluded cluster of the world's most healthy coral reef. You’ll have another half hour to venture out and explore the underwater world before making the way back to your ship. In the event of inclement sea conditions, captain reserves the right to substitute with an inshore reef site.

After departing from the pier in an open-air train trolley, you will soon arrive in the heart of the Royal Naval Dockyard. Known as the “Gibraltar of the West,” the dockyard played a vital role in War of 1812 and both World Wars. As you ride the trolley through the streets, the conductor will entertain you with colorful anecdotes and fascinating facts about the history and architecture of the dockyard. Along the way, you will pass the Royal Navy Cemetery, which dates back to 1812. Other points of interest include Lagoon Park, whose mangroves support a thriving population of birds, and Somerset Village, a residential area on Somerset Island that was settled centuries ago.

The tour ends back at the pier. However, as an alternative, the conductor will drop you at Clock Tower Mall to browse the shops and then you may return to the pier later on your own.

Tucked away in Bermuda’s East End lies an unspoiled hidden paradise of pristine beaches. The Clearwater Beach Triangle will take you away from the beaten bath and crowded beaches to a series of 6 interconnecting utopic beaches, while still offering all of the great facilities and amenities to make a perfect beach day. A representative will greet you on the pier outside of your ship and direct you to Norwegian’s direct tender to St. George’s. Once you arrive in St. George’s, you will be greeted by a charismatic and knowledgeable local guide and escorted onto comfortable mini buses. From there, you will be treated to a guided sightseeing tour on the way to Clearwater Beach in St. David's. When you arrive at Clearwater beach, this will be your base and you will be given an orientation on the facilities of Clearwater, as well as the locations of the 5 other walkable beaches in the area. You will be shown to your special beach section and provided with a sun lounger and shared umbrella. When you are ready, head to the beach restaurant for a local lunch. At your leisure, swim, have lunch or explore the many beaches, and take advantage of the modern facilities available to you. At the end of your beach time, you will be transported back to St. George's before taking the tender right back to your ship.

Maximize your time in Bermuda on this great combination tour! First, enjoy sightseeing the rural west end of the island during your short shuttle ride to Somerset Island. Here you'll be provided a Mountain Bike and equipped with a durable bike helmet. After receiving instruction on riding and safety, you'll begin your guided cycle tour along the original Bermuda Railway Trail. During your bike ride, your guide will stop at various points of interest along the mostly flat trail and provide informative commentary along the way. You'll also enjoy spectacular scenery along the trail, and time permitting you'll have the opportunity to hike up to the historic Fort Scaur and view the sprawling 17th century Mott Family estate. Explore the geological wonders and eerie formations in Crystal Caves and then spend hours relaxing at a series of beaches linked by footpaths and surrounded by a nature reserve.

After departing from the pier, you will enjoy a leisurely tender ride to St. George’s Island, the northernmost point of hook-shaped Bermuda. A short scenic drive will bring you to Crystal Caves, which were discovered in 1907 when a teenager tried to retrieve his cricket ball from a hole and found it led to a huge series of caverns.

You will have the opportunity to explore the wonders underground, which include a crystal-clear lake and a profusion of white stalactites eerily illuminated for added drama. Parts of the caves are accessed along a pontoon boardwalk that floats atop the lake, allowing a closer look at the geological formations underwater. As an alternative, you may remain above ground and meander the gardens and browse the gift shop.

. Continuing, you will soon arrive at the Clearwater Beach & Cooper’s Island Reserve, a secluded wedge of undeveloped land on Bermuda’s eastern end. The area contains six interconnected beaches, an idyllic setting to enjoy hours relaxing in the sun, doing whatever you please.

You may take a refreshing swim in the shallow waters, observe the marine life while snorkeling or simply lie back in a lounge chair and enjoy the serenity.

OVERVIEW

Learn about the mysterious Bermuda Triangle – where dozens of ships and airplanes have supposedly vanished without explanation – and browse a museum that sheds some light on those enigmas. Bermuda is the northern tip of the triangle, whose other points are Miami and Puerto Rico, and the waters in between are legendary for their unnatural occurrences. You will gaze out over the sea from Fort Scaur, a late 19th-century fortress that offers an extraordinary 360° view of Bermuda. The Unlock the Secrets exhibit at the Bermuda Underwater Exploration Institute may unravel some of the most puzzling aspects of the Bermuda Triangle. Another exhibit will allow you to investigate some of the triangle’s strange phenomena on a simulated dive to an airplane graveyard at the bottom of the sea. A driving tour through Hamilton will reveal the official northern point of the Bermuda Triangle, after which you will pause for photos of one of the island’s most beautiful pink beaches.

Hear enlightening commentary about the British overseas territory of Bermuda on a scenic drive to a resort in Somerset Village, where you will indulge in a traditional English tea. The British influence will be apparent most everywhere you go, beginning with the Royal Naval Dockyard. It was established as a British base of operations between Nova Scotia and the West Indies after the English were defeated in the American Revolution, and it was used militarily until abandoned in the 1980s. OVERVIEW

Zip through the streets and back alleys of historical St. George on an electric trike for an effortless exploration of this UNESCO World Heritage site town. After a briefing on how to operate the trike and a trial run, you will be ready to take off on a one-of-a-kind journey through downtown. Pedaling or balancing isn’t required like on a conventional bike so you can concentrate on the sights along the way. The exact route will depend on the conditions and traffic, but you can expect to see many of the most historical landmarks. They include where the rum runners operated during Prohibition, the Unfinished Church – which was started in 1874 and is still only partially built – and the site of Joseph Rainey’s barbershop before he returned to America to become the first African-American to serve in the U.S. House of Representatives. The guide will describe the importance of each attraction during the 3-mile ride.

Cruise to Hamilton and explore the capital however you please by shopping on your own, enjoying a walking tour. After departing from the pier, you will soon settle in for a delightful cruise across the Great Sound, a body of impossibly turquoise water that fills the bend in the islands distinctive fishhook shape. A coral reef at the mouth of the sound shelters the inner waters, making for a typically calm cruise to the pastel-colored capital of Hamilton. Upon disembarking, you will have several options. If you choose to shop on your own, you can expect to find one-of-a-kind jewelry, vivid artwork celebrating the island life, and classic Bermuda shorts in every color of the rainbow. You might also pick up a tasty treat like rum cake or a jar of jam flavored with Scotch bonnet peppers. Another option is to split your time between exploring on your own and an enlightening walking tour of Hamilton. Either way, you may see the glorious Cathedral of the Most Holy Trinity, leafy Victoria Park and the Bermuda National Gallery, a showcase for centuries of outstanding island artwork.

The breathtaking South shores drive offers stops for photo opportunities to view famous Horseshoe Bay and other pink sand beaches, pretty pastel colored houses with distinctive white roofs. Your driver will pick-up shipside and shortly after exiting the Royal Naval Dockyard complex your drive takes you through quaint Somerset Village and over Somerset Bridge, the smallest drawbridge in the world. Admire Bermuda’s stunning natural beauty along the way, as you carry-on along breathtaking South Shore Road. Tour bus will pull-over at laybys dotted along this drive for photo opportunities and views of famous Horseshoe Bay and other pink sand beaches.
