A perfect combination of sights and flavors is yours to experience today. After a 5 minute walk to Kotor, you’ll enjoy a walking tour of the old town, a cultural UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is a beautiful example of the different cultural influences that have left their mark here. Stroll the streets of the historical center, learn about its history and enjoy the atmosphere.

Next, take a scenic drive towards the mountain village of Njegusi. Enjoy breathtaking views of the Bay of Kotor from above. Drive through winding mountain roads with interesting rock formations. Sample some local specialties of Njegusi during your stop at restaurant. Follow your guide through Cetinje, the old Royal Capital of Montenegro. Visit the Court of King Nikola Petrovic. It now houses the National Museum of Cetinje, displaying valuable collections (inside visit not included). Stop to catch the magnificent views overlooking the “Riviera of Budva” and the open Adriatic coastline.

Before arriving to the port you will visit a shop that sells kilim carpets. While “kilim” is a word of Turkish origin, this style of flat-weave carpet is produced in many countries, including Montenegro. The weaving technique favors diagonal and geometrical patterns with wool being the preferred material because of its durability.

Following a presentation on how kilim carpets are produced, you might purchase one. Each carpet comes with a certificate of origin and can be shipped anywhere in the world.

There is approximately 1 1/2 miles of walking over flat surfaces and cobblestones with approximately 30 steps. Guests who would like to skip the shop will be taken back to the port. For the guests that stayed shopping, the shuttle bus will be provided to take them back to the port.
