A leisurely walk through the woodlands around the cave will reveal some of the more unusual flora and fauna that flourish in the tropical landscape. Still, the natural wonders inside the cave system are the real showstoppers. As you follow an environmentalist from cave to cave, you will learn about the Taino Indians that once lived in this area and see pre-Columbian petroglyphs carved into the rock surfaces.
