Pass through the visually stunning countryside in the Puna district just outside Hilo, where you will see lava fields from past volcanic eruptions and walk along the Pohoiki black-sand beach, which is composed of lava fragments. According to legend, the volatile Hawaiian volcano goddess Pele lives in the district’s Kīlauea volcano. She not only creates new land, but also destroys what stands in the path of the lava, which is known as “frozen fire” once it cools and hardens. However, the historical Painted Church was spared during Kīlauea’s eruption in 1990 when the congregants raised the church onto a trailer and moved it to safety. While browsing the wooden church, which features wonderful painted ceiling frescoes, you will hear more about its salvation. Enjoy the fun and adventure of Corfu’s countryside while traveling over stony trails through the olive groves. You’ll catch glimpses of the sparkling Ionian Sea, beautiful green hills and have a glimpse of the traditional way of life led by many of the local people. After picking up your 4x4 vehicle at the pier, your guide will lead you up the main coastal road to the northeast of the island. You’ll then take small country roads to quaint villages, stopping at one of the most charming and oldest on the island to take in the views.

Take an uphill narrow winding road (with 27 zigzag turns) to the Sokraki where you’ll stop to admire one of the most fantastic panoramic views. Following a dusty road, you’ll arrive at Troumbetta. You’ll also visit a traditional Koum Kouat distillery. The Koum Kouat citrus fruit, a variety which only grows in Corfu, is made into one of the island's most famous products, a liqueur with the same name, plus fruit preserved sweets. You’ll be able to view a small exhibition of antique distillery equipment, sample the produce and purchase local liquors.

At the White Pass & Yukon Route Depot, board a vintage railcar for a ride up the White Pass Summit. Marvel at the waterfalls, tunnels and historic sites you pass on your journey to the summit of the White Pass and beyond to Fraser, British Columbia. In Fraser, disembark the train and board a motorcoach for a dramatic journey past the Tormented Valley and Pitchfork Falls en route to Skagway. Your Driver-Guide will regale with a colorful account of the history of the Klondike Gold Rush. Taking views of the surrounding mountains, waterfalls, and glaciers may be captured during the many photo stops. Next, you will head to Liarsville Gold Rush Trail Camp for a salmon bake buffet. Enjoy wild Alaska salmon grilled over an open wood fire, baked chicken, a variety of salads, beans, rice pilaf, cornbread and dessert while in the destination of the recreated tent city from 1898. Spend your time experiencing Corfu’s most beautiful and renowned landmarks. Drive through the countryside dotted with lemon and olive trees, to reach the top of Analipsis hill, near Kanoni area where Mons Repos Palace stands. It was built in 1826 by the British Commissioner Frederic Adams as a gift to his Corfiot wife, Nina Palatianou. It is a charming palace with colonial architectural elements. Continue driving along the coastal road of Perama, where you’ll stop to take photographs of the famous views of Mouse Island before returning to Corfu town.

Leave your coach in the Esplanade, the main square of the town, for a walk through the picturesque streets of the Old Town. Here you’ll see historical sites, such as the residence of the Venetian quarters of Cambiello and Corfu’s historical center, the Town Hall and the Church of Saint Spyridon, Patron Saint of Corfu. At the end of the tour you can either board your coach to return to your ship, or remain in the city a bit longer and return to your ship later on your own.

Cruise by the famed Lovers Beach, past the sea lion colony and the towering rock formations of Land’s End, then set sail for Chileno Bay, cruising along Cabo’s Gold Coast. The bay features a large reef, which is home to many species of fish. You’ll snorkel among the tropical fish in the blue waters of the Sea of Cortez. On the return voyage, an assortment of finger foods and drinks will be served. Relax as the sails are hoisted and enjoy the beauty of Los Cabos.

Start your tour with a drive along the Borgund Fjord, through the modern suburbs to the old trading center of Borgund. Here, you’ll visit the Sunnmore Open-Air Museum where you’ll see various types of farmhouses, boathouses and a number of different boats. Shipbuilding was known to be the most reliable along the coast.

You’ll find replicas of the so called Kvalsund and Fjortoft boats from the year 700 A.D. Alongside lies the fishing vessel Heland known as the Shetland bus, as it was used to carry Norwegian partisans across the North Sea during World War II. Then make a detour up to Mount Aksla to enjoy the magnificent view over the town and surroundings, before returning to your ship.

Maui's iconic crescent-shaped islet is a beautiful reef known for its crystal-clear waters, abundant coral, colorful fish and resting seabirds. You'll snorkel about an hour at Molokini and then head to your second snorkel site, Turtle Arches, with its underwater lava formations and frequent green sea turtle sightings. Watch humpback whales and other marine creatures cavorting in the nutrient-rich waters at Point Adolphus, one of Alaska’s premier observation points. During the cruise, a naturalist will describe the diversity of animals that converge here each summer. They come primarily to feed in the waters that are extraordinarily rich in halibut, salmon and plankton. Point Adolphus is noted for having the highest concentration of humpback whales in the Alaskan panhandle, so be on the lookout for these majestic and intelligent creatures. You can expect them to be breaching the water’s surface, waving their flukes up and down as they dive, and feeding voraciously to fatten up for their winter migration south. You might also observe frolicking Dall’s porpoises, Stellar sea lions, curious harbor seals and Orca whales. You may also see graceful bald eagles swooping down to grab fish in their talons, and perhaps even bears and deer in the surrounding wooded landscape.

Take a scenic drive through the countryside to the magnificent city of Florence. Pause in the Piazza del Duomo to admire the exterior of the Cathedral (Duomo) of Santa Maria del Fiore, its elaborate Gothic façade is covered in a mix of pink and green marble.

View the statues in the Piazza della Signoria on your way to the Ponte Vecchio, the medieval stone bridge was the first bridge built across the River Arno, and has been well known for its goldsmiths and jewelers since the 16th century. Lunch is included at a local restaurant, and after the meal you’ll have free time to explore on your own or to shop, before your tour continues to the historic town of Pisa. Here, you’ll make a brief photo stop in Miracle Square for a look at the exterior of that famous Leaning Tower. Built in the 12th century, it began to lean soon afterwards, but has now been stabilized.

As well as the seasonal Humpback whales that migrate yearly from Alaska (Jan-Apr), you may also find pilot whales, false killer whales and other rare, elusive whales that live here year-round. When you are in the Zodiac, you are just 2 feet above the water line, so you have a great vantage point from which to view the marine life.

Your ultimate destination is Kealakekua Bay marine preserve, site of the Captain Cook monument. Kealakekua Bay is known around the world for its abundance of coral and tropical fish - over 220 varieties of marine life in total. You will spend 1 ½ hours snorkeling the crystal-clear turquoise waters of the bay. All the snorkel gear is provided, including masks (RX if needed), snorkels, fins, and flotation devices. Non-swimmers and first-time snorkelers will be provided with flotation devices and instruction. There is a 3-4 rung ladder that is lowered from the Zodiac and you must be able to get up the ladder and back into the raft on your own. There is no access to land on this tour, the Zodiac is your "island" where you can get in and out of the water as often as you like at the snorkel spot.

Travel to the picturesque little village of Baddeck situated on the shores of the beautiful Bras d'Or Lakes in the heart of Cape Breton Island. This is where Alexander Graham Bell spent most of the last 37 years of his life. Visit his museum which does full justice to the outstanding accomplishments of the man best known for the invention of the telephone and remarkable contributions in the fields of medicine, genetics, electricity, sound and speech, as well as aeronautics and marine engineering.

The museum itself is architecturally striking, as its design is based on the tetrahedron form Bell used for his flight test kites and houses the most extensive collection of artifacts contributed by his family. Enjoy the views of Boulanderie Island, Seal Island Bridge, Kelly's Mountain and St. Ann's Bay during the return drive to your ship.

Departing the quayside, you will drive through the city of Castries. Your first stop is at Caribelle Batik Studio where you'll learn about the batik printing process during a brief demonstration. Experience one of the most scenic drives on the East Coast of the United States during this memorable visit to Acadia National Park, the second-most visited park in the United States. Boarding your coach at the pier, you will set-off on the drive to Acadia National Park, first passing through the quaint town of Bar Harbor to view some of the charming Victorian mansions built by America's rich and famous at the turn of the 20th century. Upon arrival at Acadia National Park, you will proceed along the 27-mile Park Loop Road taking in spectacular coastal, mountain and forest views.

Next, you will travel along the ocean's edge, passing Sand Beach, Schooner Head Overlook, and the High Seas Estate, a beautiful mansion built by a wealthy gentleman whose wife perished on the Titanic before ever stepping foot in her dream home. Continuing on, you will pass Otter Cliffs and the gulf of Maine with beautiful views of the off shore islands, as well as travel through pine wood forests and past the Jordon Pond House. A beautiful view of the Penobscot Mountains and Bubbles Hill can be seen from this location. The park is home to over 50 species of mammals so keep your eyes peeled for moose, black bear and white tail deer as you make your way around the Park Loop Road. Weather and traffic/crowd conditions permitting, there will be a photo stop from atop the 1,530-foot Cadillac Mountain, the highest point on North America's eastern seaboard. Here, you will have the opportunity to take in spectacular panoramic views and enjoy photo opportunities of Acadia National Park and Mount Desert Island. This wonderful vantage point allows you to see how glaciers have carved through the granite cliffs to form a breathtaking landscape of lush forest, lakes and valleys.
