Miami & New York Bus Program Terms & Conditions Escot Bus Lines operates the Cruise Connection for Norwegian sailings from the Port of Miami. For information on availability and to make a reservation, please contact Norwegian Cruise Line at 0611 36070. Cruise Connection operates the following routes: Availability The program is different for each bus company: Miami: Cruise Connection by Escot operates the program. During season from October to May, service is offered every Friday – Monday. Therefore all sailings except Southern Caribbean on the Norwegian Sun offer this program. During the summertime (June-September), service is offered only on Saturdays and Sundays. Therefore only Norwegian Getaway offers this program. The service is not offered on Norwegian Sky. New York: Academy Bus and Yankee Trails offers this service in New York. Academy Bus is available for all New York sailings year round (including 1- and 2-day sailings). Yankee Trails packages are not currently available in the system. In summary, trust what you see in the system. If the package does not appear, the service is not offered. Booking This program must be pre-purchased. Guests cannot walk-up and purchase the service on day of sailing. This program is sold on a one-way basis in the system. Most guests will purchase round trip transfers except on Panama Canal and repositioning sailings. Required Information on All Bookings The guest’s cell phone number must be included on all bookings. Having a cell phone number enables the bus company to contact guests with any last-minute schedule updates, delays, etc. If the guest does not have a cell phone, try to get any other day or travel contact information. It is important to ask the guest if they have any special ADA requests. Bus companies need advance notice to schedule wheelchair-accessible motorcoaches. Special reminders are included on the cruise confirmation and on the e-doc transfer voucher asking guests to provide cell phone and ADA information. Applicability Both groups and FITs may book this service. Baggage Allowance Cruise Connection by Escot (Miami) Guests may bring 2 bags and 1 carry on bag without charge. Academy Bus (New York) Guests may bring 1 bag and 1 carry on bag without charge. System Close-Outs Cruise Connection by Escot (Miami) Packages close out 10 days prior to sailing   Academy Bus (Miami) Packages close out 4 days prior to sailing Cancellation Penalties Same penalties apply as our regular Airport to Pier cruise only transfers. Travel Agents Agents earn a 10% commission on all sales. Guest Information Attached to all e-docs are specific guest instructions from the applicable bus company. These instructions include pick-up times and locations as well as specific ship debarkation instructions. Please advise guests to read these instructions prior to sailing. Parking Parking for the duration of the cruise is not available at pick-up locations. We are not able to answer any questions regarding parking. Other Information Our bus program is a shared-ride service and NOT exclusive to Norwegian Cruise Line. There may be guests from other cruise lines on the same motorcoach. Guests need to be at their pick-up location at least 20-30 minutes before their scheduled departure time. The motorcoach must stick to its published schedule and will not wait for late-arriving guests. No refunds will be given for unused or missed transfers. On day of travel, if the guest has an emergency, they should contact the bus company directly, not Norwegian Cruise Line.
