After departing from the pier, you will soon arrive at an exclusive waterfront residence where you will be welcome to live like it’s your own Bahamian home. To ensure a wonderful experience, a chef, bartender and personal host will be standing by, awaiting your requests and ready to answer questions you may have about the Bahamian lifestyle.
What you do at this private residence is entirely up to you. You might stroll to the adjoining beach-rimmed cove and swim in the crystal-clear water. Or stretch out in the shade of the Caribbean pines that flank the beach and read a bestseller.
If you prefer to be more active, kayaks, paddleboards and snorkeling are available. It’s immensely relaxing to spend hours doing whatever you please with no schedule to follow.
All the while, the chef will be preparing an authentic Bahamian meal for your enjoyment. Feel free to join in if you’re curious about the ingredients and how the dishes are made. When lunch is ready, you may dine inside or alfresco in the garden.
Traditional Bahamians drinks and local beers will be offered throughout your stay. One of the most popular beverages is the iconic Bahama Mama, a blend of fruit liqueurs and rum, typically garnished with a pineapple wedge and cherry. After approximately 3 1/2 hours, you will be transferred back to the ship, with an new appreciation of Bahamian life.
