Just call NCL and ask for guest services. Have your reservation number ready and request the beds be separated. I'm pretty sure there's a place to state how you want the beds arranged when you're making reservations, but that may have changed. If you're planning on sailing NCL regularly it's a great idea to get a cruise consultant that works with/for NCL. They'll get to know you and what you prefer and it makes getting this sort of thing taken care of simple.

None! NCL has a 'Freestyle' philosophy. Dress up if you feel like it, don't if you don't. Any night you'll see people in suits and gowns as well as people in casual wear. You won't feel out of place whichever you choose. Additionally, there are photographers in the lobby taking portraits every evening, and many people dress up just for that.

Standard issue has shampoo and body wash in the shower, liquid hand soap at the sink. In the haven and suites there are more options like conditioner and lotion, of higher-end products.

If you plan to eat at specialty dining restaurants, YES. Do this BEFORE you sail. I believe you can start making reservations 90 days before your sail date and you SHOULD!! Even the shows-Book everything early or you risk missing it. Even 90 days out there were some restaurants that only had 5pm or 10pm left. Too early or too late lol

There is no self-service laundry. Items sent to the ship's laundry are charged similarly to any dry cleaner. There is usually a special offered mid-cruise. Check with your cabin attendant.

There are no obstructed view cabins on the Breakaway

All staterooms have refrigerators.

Near the Atrium lounge. You can count on pretty much "main menu" kind of drinks like lattes, macchiatos etc. Please don't order some ridiculously complicated tik tok drink - they most likely won't know how to make it and people behind you in line will riot if you try to walk them through it. Just don't.

YES!!! I cruised with 3 kids so we had a ton of towels and wet bathing suits. I bought little magnet hooks at home depot and we used them everyday! So I know for sure the bathroom walls work with magnets.

If you're asking if you can bring drinks onboard, the answer is no. However, you can bring drinks from the bar and snacks from the buffet, etc. into your room. You cannot, however, have alcoholic drinks delivered to your stateroom (at least last time I checked). Unfortunately, they will not deliver or allow you to bring canned sodas to your room for the kiddos to open later, though sometimes you get a crew member who'll allow you this anyway, which is nice. In short, you can't bring any kind of beverages onboard, but you can get a drink at the bar and bring it back to your room. Same goes for snacks. If you're staying in The Haven you can have your butler deliver just about anything to your room.

Yes there are four on the main pool deck, and two on deck 18 Spice H2O.

The balcony partitions are kept closed as a safety measure, to help prevent a fire from spreading. They are opened only for maintenance.

No, there are no forward-facing lounges on Breakaway. There is the sun deck on deck 17. The only indoor option is the Spa Thermal Suite (at additional cost) on deck 15. There are lounges facing forward there. Check out the deck plans at the link above.

There are no irons in staterooms, nor are you allowed to bring your own. They're considered fire hazards. Your cabin steward can lend you one for a short time.

The Thermal spa has sauna, steam room, salts room, even a saunarium. Very worth the price to access it your whole trip.

There are quite a few on decks 11-13. The deck plans show them as double-headed arrows between the two cabins. Access between them is through internal door. From what I understand, the panels between the balconies outside are no longer opened, as it's seen as a safety hazard.

I don't have an answer for this, but I wanted to know the answer also!! Before there was smoking on 1 side of the casino, no walled off smoking for the Casino. There was smoking in the Spice H20 bar area on the 16? floor AFT. (Where the movie screen is) There used to be smoking outside of one of the restaurants, on the same side as the Cigar bar. Unsure what covid changed on the ship!

You can bring extension cords and power strips as needed.

The coffee makers in the standard rooms use little "packets" of coffee, not loose grounds with a filter so bringing your own coffee wouldn't really work. If you're staying in The Haven they use Nespresso machines and you have to use Nespresso pods. If you find the in-room coffee not to your liking you can have coffee delivered at a predetermined time, try the restaurant coffee, or (my favorite option) find one of the automatic machines that fresh grinds the beans and makes a cup fresh for you. It's the best coffee on the ship.

The deck just above the pool deck has a walking/jogging track that allows you to travel around the ship, but it doesn't extend from the very front to the very back. But if you're asking if there's a circuitous track that you can walk/run laps on then yes. Also, if you want a nice walk outside but aren't terribly concerned with something that goes completely around the ship, try The Waterfront on deck 8. It's the same deck with most of the dining and bars and they have several outdoor bars along the walk so you can grab something to cool off with. There's also plenty of very comfortable upholstered outdoor furniture if you need to rest your feet for a while. Cigar smoking is only allowed inside the humidor located at Maltings bar on deck 8. You're not supposed to smoke cigars anywhere else on the ship and even cigarette smoking areas are becoming smaller and less numerous. It's as if NCL wants to alienate smokers. I'm not a smoker, but I think it's bad business to be so prohibitive to smokers who are willing to pay for a cruise. NCL really needs to work on that.

Robes are only available if you're staying in The Haven section of the ship, a spa room, or a Club Balcony. Also, you can't take them home with you unless you're willing to buy them.

Yes, hair dryers are provided in all staterooms. They're usually found just outside the bathroom.

The fitness center is on Deck 15, and there's a jogging track on Deck 16 - check out the deck plans on the tab above. They offer a wide range of classes throughout the cruise - sign up in the fitness center.
