Does the Encore have self service laundry facilities?

I am traveling with some new travelers, they are asking about laundry facilities on board. What shall I tell them?

There are no self-service laundry facilities on any NCL ship. You can send your laundry to the ship's laundry for a fee, similar to a land-based dry cleaner, generally with overnight service. They usually run a special mid-cruise - ask your cabin attendant.

If you want bottled water you will have to pay for it. There are water stations you can refill a bottle you brought with you however.

Hello. We applied for a room upgrade Feb. 01 2023. We are now 2 weeks away from sailing. Is there any way to know if it was accepted?

I keep seeing things for us to apply for an upgrade, but we already did it. Because we did it 3 over 3 months ago and I keep seeing things to upgrade, I wonder if the upgrade was even considered...or do I need to do it again?

I made an offer about the same time and received an email about a month ago that my bid was accepted. I was told that an accepted bid would receive an email-others it isn’t accepted…even up to one day before sailing. Try looking on the NCL website at your cabin assignment. Mine changed from the original after the upgrade

Really easy to do. Book the shows you want to see by using the touch screens adjacent to the elevators at any time, but you should do this on the first day of sailing before they sell out.

How can I apply for a cabin upgrade

Shortly after the full-pay date, the upgrade bidding will begin. You'll be notified by e-mail. Of course, you can always upgrade by calling your TA or NCL PCC, but you'll pay the full price for the upgrade.

what do the plus, triangle, and no symbol mean by the room numbers on the 11th deck aft.

We have room 11298 AFT what does it mean that this room has no symbol by the room number, the room just forward of us has a plus symbol next to the number?

All the symbols represent different things. These particular ones represent the number of people the room will hold. If you look at the deck plans, and scroll down you will see the symbol key.

NCL does not usually staff a chaplain or priest, so unless there is one who is traveling aboard who wishes to volunteer to hold services in the chapel, there won't be one. There is not a chapel onboard the Encore.

Depends entirely on personal preference. You pay the same amount either way (unless you happen to prepay prior to a rate increase). Some people like to prepay so they don't have to worry about it.

There is a meter off to the right of your bid, it will give you an estimate of poor, fair, good, strong, excellent. Just go back in and take a look at that.

Formal Attire Nights

This is my first Norwegian cruise, but Carnival and Royal Caribbean have formal nights where everyone wears nice attire to dinner. Does Norwegian do formal nights?

NCL has a freestyle philosophy, where everyone can dine where and when they please and dress as they please (with a few suggested dress codes at dinner). There are no formal nights, but if you want to dress up, do it. You won't be alone.

No - that is a working area and passengers have no access. The one exception to this that I've seen is during a Panama Canal crossing when it was opened to passengers as a special viewing area.
