I have cruise booked in Feb. What can I expect? Less capacity. No buffet. No shows. Etc etc.

Asked by: EdFlorida43
Based on the information which NCL has released so far, it is likely that the ships may be sailing at less than full capacity at that time. The buffet no longer will be self-serve, with staff serving all portions. It is possible that the buffet may be converted into a restaurant with fixed meals, but that seems unlikely. You should still be able to choose individual items. They just will be served to you instead of you serving yourself. The other restaurants may have some seating removed to spread the tables farther apart. There will still be shows, but some of the theater seats may be removed or blocked to promote social distancing. It is likely that face masks will be required at times and that frequent hand washing will be encouraged.

Category BC for Stateroom 9174

What does BC stand for?
Asked by: Desperante
"B" stands for Balcony. The second letter, "C" represents a subcategory of Balcony staterooms. The various subcategories distinguish more favorable locations or decks from less desirable locations, room size, number of passengers the room can accommodate, etc. Usually the lower numbers or letters refer to the most desirable, and hence more expensive, staterooms. The "C" Balcony subcategories may not be the most highly sought after rooms, but neither are they the most expensive Balcony staterooms.

What is the name of deck 14

What is Decks name?
Asked by: Anonymous
Unlike some cruise lines which assign a name to each deck, on the vast majority of NCL ships the decks have no official designation other than a number. So the name of deck 14 on the Epic is simply "Deck 14."

Is there an outdoor giant chess on this ship, similar to the one on the Getaway?

Asked by: Niina
Yes there is. To the best of my recollection, there are two of them, located near the pool, although I don't remember if they actually are on the pool deck or on one of the decks overlooking the pool.

Can you make reservations to bowl prior to boarding the Epic? Please advise reservation procedure

Asked by: Haywoman
Prior to Covid-19, reservations were not necessary for getting a lane to bowl. Normally, there wasn't too long await to get a lane.
