Dress code

Can you wear capri pants when dining in the Manhattan dining room?

The dailies on the Epic do specify the dress code: "Resort casual and shorts are allowed in all dining venues except Le Bistro or Manhattan Room after 5:00p. Shoes and shirt must be worn." I will note this is basically fleetwide except for the Manhattan Room. When we were on the Encore, it was only Le Bistro and Ocean Blue that you had to wear long pants. So just keep that in mind if you sail on another ship in the future. This is what NCL says on their 'what should I pack' page: Cruise Casual: the Freedom of Freestyle Cruising Dress cruise casual anytime during the day, in the buffet and in most specialty restaurants. For women, it includes summer and casual dresses, skirts, regular or capri pants, shorts, jeans and tops. Khakis, jeans, shorts and casual shirts are fine for men. Swimwear is acceptable at the buffet and outdoor restaurant, but a shirt or a cover-up and footwear are required. Be sure to pack a sweater - the air conditioning can be chilly. Kids 12 and under are welcome to wear nice shorts in all our restaurants. Please Note: We want you to be comfortable, but tank tops for men, flip flops, baseball caps, visors and jeans that are overly faded, with holes or tears and worn below the hips are not permitted in main dining rooms or specialty restaurants. All Decked-out: Smart Casual Dress smart casual in our more formal dining room or in our more upscale specialty restaurants. For women, it includes slacks or jeans, dresses, skirts and tops. For men, it's jeans or slacks with a collared shirt and closed-toed shoes. Kids 12 and under are welcome to wear nice shorts in all our restaurants.

On the Epic, Club Balcony rooms is there hair shampoo, body soap? Are there plenty of plug ins or should you bring a power stip?

Shampoo and body wash in the shower. Power strips come in handy, as there are not many outlets.

I have a C Pap machine, is there power beside the bed or do I need to bring an extension cord?

Depending on the room configuration and which side of the bed you sleep on, you may need an extension cord. My partner didn't need it but we brought a small one just in case.

My CPAP machine requires distilled water. I am flying to port from NY and can’t bring liquid on flight. Can I get distilled water on ship Epic) ?

I have a MC cabin on deck 8. What is the difference with a MB category on Deck 11? Is there information on line that explains the difference in cabin identifiers and what may be different from one to tanother when making a reservation?

Is there an observation lounge on the Epic?

The Bliss has a marvelous wrap around lounge with snacks and lots of comfortable seating. Is there any observation lounge at all on the Epic. I saw a reference to one that was planned but can not find any reference to it on the deck plans.
