Are there any additional charges that accompany the District Brew House and Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville?

Norwegian Escape Miami to Western Caribbean December 2019 We have the Unlimited Adult beverage package and 3 Specialty Meal package
Asked by: SydneyKevin0325
Yes, both venues have an a-la-carte menu. However, the specialty dining package can be used at Margaritaville but not at the District Brewhouse. Here's some more info on it https://www.ncl.com/specialty-dining-package/faq

Should I call before we leave on our June 16th Bermuda cruise if I think my Dad will require a wheelchair to get onboard and while onboard?

He does use a walker, some of the time, so can I bring his or do we also need to rent one while onboard? I have no clue about wheelchairs or walkers.
Asked by: Jasmine64
Here is the link to accessible cruising link. You will need to call the third party company to make arrangements for a wheelchair during the cruise. https://www.ncl.com/about/accessible-cruising

I am booking last minute. Will i have difficulty making entertainment reservations or dinner reservations?

Asked by: rita4mom
You can check online to make the reservations. Even if nothing is available online, you should be able to make reservations onboard the ship. They reserve part of the dinner and show for guests making reservations onboard the ship. For shows, there is always walk-in seats available for guests with no reservations.

how mahy ft. are the decks from one end to the other?

Asked by: moncoll
If you look at the ship details it should give you the max length and width of the ship. The individual decks can be shorter because the decks do taper toward the top.

Do they have pickle ball?

Asked by: Lorretta
There is a multi-purpose sports complex on the ship and the court can be used to play basketball, tennis and other sports. I've never seen pickle ball on the ship, so you'll need to bring your own equipment.

Is there an alternate way of boarding the ship rather than using those long, angled ramps? They are tough for an asthmatic.

Unfortunately no. All guests have to use the ramps to embark the ship. The ramps are wide enough for you climb at your own pace.

There are no reserved seating in the main dining room. Seating is on a first come first serve basis. However, for party of 10, they should be able to join 2 or 3 tables for you. You may have to wait a few min to get the table ready.

Are jackets required for men at any of the on board restaurants on the Escape?

Asked by: KRath
You are cruising Freestyle. Formal clothes are not required on NCL. You can wear "smart casual" clothes to the specialty dining rooms and the main dining rooms. There are no formal nights but they do have "Dress up or not" nights where formals are suggested (but not required). However, if you plan to have family portraits taken with the Captain, formals would be nice. http://www.ncl.com/freestyle-cruise/prepare-for-your-cruise/what-to-pack http://www.ncl.com/faq#packing

which floors have bathtubs and which ships to Alaska and to Canada
Asked by: Myrna
Some of the mini-suites and higher class of stateroom have bathtubs. However not all min-suites have tubs. You may want to look at the floor plan for the room to see if the room has a tub if that is one of your requirements for the stateroom.

My husband is 6'10" tall. I cruised with my sister this year but wonder if he would be able to stand in the shower.

Would any of the regular rooms accommodate us?
Asked by: epk930
I'm not sure of the exact height of the shower but it may barely accommodate a 6'10'' guest. Since the height of all the showers will be the same, you really don't have much choice in the matter.

Do I need to bring an electricity converter?

Asked by: Carolems
All ships have 110 V and 220 V A/C. The connector is US prongs for 110 V and European style prongs for the 220 V. There is one outlet in your room next to the dressing table and another one in the bathroom. The outlets are limited and are not located next to your bed. You may want to take an extension cord if you want to connect some device next to your bed.

What is available on stateroom TV?

Asked by: Redheart
The choices are fairly limited. There are 5-6 channels dedicated to ship related activities like safety, shore excursion presentations etc. Other than that you have 3 news channels, couple of channels for kids, couple for sports and one channel where they screen movies most of the day.
