Are Microwave ovens available either in the rooms or elsewhere in the ship ?

There are no microwaves in the rooms. Talk to your cabin attendant, or use hot water from the bathroom.

Not sure about the shower set-up, call NCL and ask quest services regarding actual specs. Did see the same type suite set-up on deck 10 and it was a roll in; but do call to confirm.

Honestly, the best thing to do is relax. There are plenty of activities on board. Certainly the casino and bingo are there. But if you don't want to spend money there are always good speakers with interesting programs. Or, talk to the crew! Some of them have fascinating stories and advice on how to spend time. You can often learn new skills like origami or go to an art auction. You don't have to buy anything. But they can be fun.

NCL does not have formal nights. Their Freestyle policy lets everyone wear what they please. That being said, there will be enough people dressed up each night that you won't feel out of place. Also, they generally have photographers taking portraits each night with people dressed in their best. Many people dress in different outfits nightly and get portraits with different backgrounds.

From the FAQ - Norwegian Bliss, Norwegian Joy and Norwegian Encore have a designated smoking room within the Casino. On all other ships, active Casino players may smoke cigarettes, electronic cigarettes and vapor smoking devices in the Casino during gaming hours. Cigar and pipe smoking is not permitted in the Casino.

Took a cruise on the Bliss and the pools only had ladders which made it impossible for me to use the pools. I can navigate steps or a ramp, but cannot climb a ladder.
