WHERE is the guest self serve laundry? What deck(s)? What locations? What is the price per load? What are the hours of operations? 24/7? Less?

There are no self service laundry facilities. You can send your laundry to the ship's laundry for a fee, similar to a dry cleaner. They always run a special mid-cruise. Check with your Cabin Attendant.

We have a reservation on The Spirit embarking on June 26, NCL booked flights. How will we we get from Anchorage to Seward?

Check with whoever booked your tickets, or on your reservation. We are taking your same cruise, departing on June 14th. Our reservation included a bus from Anchorage to Seward. However, we opted to take the excursion on this: Embarkation Scenic Cruisetrain - Anchorage Airport to Seward Cruise Ship Terminal. They have cautions though - I don't know when your flight arrives - Participants flying-in day of sailing should book flights arriving into Anchorage no later than 11am in order to provide sufficient time for baggage claim, train check-in and possible flight delays. For participants already in Anchorage, please meet at the airport rail depot located at the Ted Stevens International Airport no later than 12 noon for train check-in. We are flying in the day before in order to make the timing work.

All Casinos open the minute they pass into International Waters. eg: 12 miles out of port.

When to expect answers to questions? Most of the questions are not answered?

These questions are answered not by NCL personnel, but by previous cruisers volunteering their time. Many of the questions are very specific - this ship, that port, even down to individual staterooms. Many questions go unanswered simply because those of us trying to answer just don't have the specific knowledge.

There are both 110 and 220 (European) outlets, although there are not many nor are they always conveniently located. Extension cords and/or power strips can come in handy.

Where is coffee available?

This is a first cruise for us. We are on Deck 6. Where would be the closest place to get a coffee first thing in the morning? Are there coffee machines nearby or do we have to go to a restaurant?

Deck 7 Atrium Cafe has Starbucks coffee available and on the same deck is The Local where you can get coffee 24 hours day. Next best option is the Garden Buffet on deck 12.

Do the accessible state rooms on the newly refurbished Spirit have automatic door openers?

The heavy stateroom doors and bathroom doors (in the accessible rooms) are challenging to open while using a wheelchair or walker. I saw the Spirit was recently renovated and wondered if automatic door openers for the accessible rooms was included in the remodel?
