You’ll learn of Darwin’s unique history including the historical bombing in 1942 which sank 12 ships in the harbor. The harbor has huge tidal movements of up to 26 feet and the only 4 gate, salt-water loch in Australia. Once you have traveled through the loch and emerged into the harbor, you'll see Larrakeyah, the Naval Patrol boat base and Doctors Gully, home to a popular and unusual local attraction, made so by the hundreds of fish that come to shore at high tide to be fed by hand.
