Christian Pratsch
Vice President Food & Beverage Operations
Christian Pratsch is the Vice President of Food and Beverage Operations for Norwegian Cruise Line, responsible for the conceptualization, development and execution of the Company's innovative food and beverage program. He oversees over 750 venues across Norwegian's 19-ship fleet, soon-to-debut vessels and two private island destinations.
Pratsch joined Norwegian in 2017 and has previously held the roles of corporate executive chef, director of culinary and later the senior director of culinary. With an extensive background in the hospitality industry, he has served as the executive chef for the New York-based Mandarin Oriental Hotel & Residences; The World, the largest private yacht consisting of 165 residences; and Intercontinental Hotel & Resorts properties in Miami, Scottsdale, and San Francisco.
Pratsch, who grew up in Germany, completed a three-year apprenticeship at Intercontinental Hotel in Hamburg and received his German Master Chef diploma accredited by the Chamber of Commerce, Hamburg, Germany. His passion for cuisine was sparked by his parents who cooked fresh meals at home every day and were not afraid to experiment with new ingredients and flavors. Expanding his skillset even further, Pratsch received his Executive MBA, graduating with honors from Florida International University in 2021.
