Wiesbaden - Feb 28, 2018

Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings Ltd. today announced enhancements to the organizational structure of its Continental Europe operations that will enable it to further leverage the extensive corporate resources and expertise already in place in the region and continue to strengthen its presence in the European cruise market.

Kevin Bubolz has been appointed to the role of Vice President and Managing Director, NCL Europe. Kevin has a long and successful career with the company in numerous financial, sales and marketing roles and is well positioned to head up sales, marketing and public relations efforts within Continental Europe and Scandinavia for the NCL brand, reporting to Harry Sommer, Executive Vice President, International Business Development.

In addition, the company announced the appointment of Todd Hamilton to Sr. Director Commercial Planning.  In his new role, Todd will look over strategy, financial analysis, IT and Operations and will liaise with revenue management for the entire international organization, across the Norwegian Cruise Line, Oceania Cruises and Regent Seven Seas Cruises brands.  Hamilton will also report to Harry Sommer.

Continuing on with the enhancements, the company also announced the promotion of two team members from the Wiesbaden office.  Julia-Christin Wiencke is promoted to Director of Marketing, NCL Europe. Tina Kunze is promoted to Director of Planning and Operations, NCL Europe.  Both Julia-Christin and Tina report into Kevin Bubolz.
"We are thrilled to have a wealth of top talent at NCLH, and it is notable that we are able to fill even the most senior positions in the organization from our rich internal talent pool. I have closely worked with Kevin, Todd, Julia-Christin and Tina over a number of years, and know they will each do a brilliant job tackling their newly expanded roles. Through these appointments, we are proud to reaffirm our commitment to the international markets, specifically the Continental European and Scandinavian markets. Working with our strong and valued partners across all of Europe, we look forward to continuing to win guests over to our premium product offerings", said Sommer.

Christian Boell and Evelyn Ackermann are leaving the company.  During his tenure, Christian Boell was instrumental in bringing a 5th Norwegian Cruise Line ship to Europe, the Norwegian Jade, and introducing Premium All Inclusive to the European market.

“We thank Christian and Evelyn for their contributions and wish them the best of success in their future endeavors”, says Harry Sommer.
