Get acquainted with sharks and rays in a unique new way during this glass-bottomed boat ride in Bora Bora, and a swim with stingrays.


Leave the pier for a brief cruise during which your guide will share with you their knowledge of these legendary animals. Arriving at the mooring location which is in about 25 feet of water, your guide will then try to attract black-tipped sharks for you to view. If you are lucky, not only will you see some black-tipped sharks, but also some lemon sharks which are known to frequent the area as well. Tropical fish abound in this area.


Continuing on, you will proceed to a shallower, clear lagoon for a rare opportunity to view the stingrays’ ballet through the large glass floor. Jump into the water for an opportunity to swim with these graceful animals (mask and snorkel are provided). An amazing experience you won't soon forget!


Need to Know:

Note: Tour is not recommended for guests with mobility concerns, is recommended for guests in good physical condition. Participants must be able to negotiate 3 steps to get in/out of the boat, as well as a ladder to board the boat from the water. Guests who wish to snorkel must be comfortable wearing the snorkeling equipment provided (mask and snorkel), being in deep water as depths cannot be guaranteed and able to cope with occasional currents. Underwater viewing takes place through large glass windows on the boat. The roof provides protection from the sun and eliminates glare, enhancing photo and video quality. Swimming is not permitted during the first stop with the sharks, but is highly recommended at the second stop with the stingrays. There are no changing facilities. Swimwear worn under a cover-up, sun cap, sunglasses, biodegradable sunscreen, towel and water shoes are recommended. Guests are cautioned not to touch or step on any coral for both safety and environmental reasons. Those participating in any water activities do so at their own risk and responsibility.
