Visit Rosenborg Castle, a renaissance style building designed as the king’s summer residence, right in the heart of the city. The castle was built as a summer home in 1606 and in the 1830s, became property of the state and now serves as a museum and royal treasury.


A panoramic drive takes you pass the National Art Gallery and the old Naval District of Nyboder on the way to Rosenborg Castle, home of the Danish Crown Jewels. During your visit, you’ll see the Knights’ Hall and many other well preserved areas of the castle. Admire its grand collection of art pieces, antiques and royal memorabilia, and in a specially-designed cellar, you can view the Crown Jewels.


On the return drive, stop for photos at the statue of ‘Little Mermaid’.

Note: Tour includes over 1-hour of walking at Rosenborg Castle with approximately 85 steps to negotiate inside the castle. Photographing of the Crown Jewels is not allowed.
