    Motu Beach Escapade

    Boarding your boat at the pier, you'll set-off across the turquoise waters of Moorea, en route to a gorgeous white sandy islet that is surrounded by crystal clear water. The waters here are shallow enough for you to walk right off the boat onto the pristine beach where you will have approximately three hours at your leisure.


    During your visit, you can relax and soak up the sun, or enjoy some great snorkeling and discover Moorea's amazing underwater world with its colorful fish, flora and fauna. There may even be some inquisitive stingrays to welcome you and in exchange for a piece of fish, they just might delight you by dancing gracefully around you.


    Following a barbeque lunch on the beach, you will have more time to enjoy the refreshing waters here or further relax on the beach while being entertained with local music and a coco demonstration.

Walking and other activities are mainly at the guests' discretion; however, this tour is recommended for guests in reasonably good physical condition. It may be necessary to negotiate a ladder to board the boat from the water. Guests who wish to snorkel must be comfortable wearing the snorkeling equipment provided (mask and snorkel), being in deep water and able to cope with occasional currents. Swimwear worn under a cover-up, sun cap, sunglasses, biodegradable sunscreen, towel and reef shoes or aqua socks are recommended. Guests are cautioned not to touch or step on any coral for both safety and environmental reasons. The waters surrounding Moorea do have stingrays, black-tip, white-tip, gray and lemon sharks which are generally considered harmless; however, those participating in water activities do so at their own risk and responsibility.     Aito Off-Road Safari

    Experience the exquisite beauty and flavors of Moorea during a picturesque, off-road excursion through this idyllic island.


    Depart the pier via four-wheel-drive vehicle for the scenic drive through Moorea's deep valleys and mountains. Your adventure begins with a drive to Paopao Valley. After passing by some pineapple plantations, you will cross the Paopao Opunohu Trail en route to Opunohu. A stop will then be made at one of the numerous sacred ancient sites, or marae, where you will learn about Polynesian culture.


    Next, you will continue to the Belvédère Lookout for incredible panoramic views overlooking Cook's and Opunohu bays. From here, you will drive through the interior trails of the Rotui Moutain to see the local flora. A stop on the way will allow you to enjoy a refreshment. Viewpoints will be part of your drive and give you multiple opportunities for photography.

The tour is not available to wheelchair guests and those with mobility concerns are cautioned to carefully evaluate their personal level of stamina and ability.     Depart the pier aboard a private, 4WD vehicle for a guided photo tour of Moorea. Your guide will offer photographic tips and interesting information about the island throughout the tour. Drive to the interior of the island along large pineapple fields, and past sub-tropical forests dotted with ancient archeological sites.

    Dolphin Watching Expedition

    Join marine biologist Dr. Michael Poole, a French-Polynesian dolphin specialist since 1987, or his assistant, for this combination eco-tour and research expedition focusing on wild, free-ranging dolphins.


    Depart the pier aboard a covered boat for the scenic ride to the open ocean. Spinner dolphins, the slightly larger rough-tooth dolphins and pilot whales can be seen around Moorea, with spinner dolphins regularly swimming inside the reef. With a little luck, you will see schools of acrobatic spinner dolphins while listening to informative commentary about their remarkable life and society at sea.


    During your tour, you will also learn about French Polynesia's geology and evolution while viewing Moorea's dramatic beauty from the sea. Dolphins are found on 95% of the tours, but the engaging narrative and sheer magnificence of Moorea's coastline will ensure a rewarding time, even on those few occasions when no dolphins are found.


    Time permitting, you will have an opportunity to go swimming directly from the boat before being transferred back to the pier.

    Moorea by Catamaran

    Cruise through a crystal-clear lagoon just offshore, stopping to snorkel and swim before continuing into the open sea where the views are even more spectacular.


    After departing from the pier in a sleek catamaran, you will settle in for a relaxing and immensely scenic cruise through a nearby lagoon. The 65-foot Ohana is the largest and fastest catamaran in its class and offers plenty of shaded seating under its canopy. For those who prefer to bask in the sun, there is comfortable mesh netting on the bow. With its shallow draft, the catamaran is ideal for cruising the lagoon and into areas other boats simply can’t reach. The waters here are translucent, but for an even closer look at the wonders below, you will navigate until you reach your swim stop. Masks and snorkels will be provided for your exploration; the sandy area boasts tiki carved stones which are worth a visit. Access to the water is via a large, easy step ladder and will make getting in and out of the water an easy task for all.


    The sights are just as magnificent above the surface, as heart-shaped mountainous Moorea is lined with pristine beaches backed by forests of lush palms. In many ways, the landscape hasn’t changed dramatically since Captain James Cook and Captain Samuel Wallis explored here in the 18th century.


    In time, you will sail out of the lagoon and into the open sea. As you sail back to the pier, enjoy some refreshments and be sure to keep an eye out for frolicking spinner dolphins.

    Snorkel Safari

    Experience the beauty of Cook's and Opunohu bays from above and below sea level during this snorkeling and beach adventure aboard a modern covered boat.


    Depart the pier aboard a comfortable and modern boat featuring covered areas designed to protect you from the direct rays of the sun. As you cruise along these majestic bays, your captain will inform you about the legends, geography, flora and fauna of Moorea.


    Stop at a gorgeous sandy islet surrounded by transparent turquoise waters that are shallow enough to walk comfortably in the sea. Upon arrival, you will have a rare opportunity to feed the awaiting rays; which will gracefully glide around you in exchange for a piece of fish.


    Another stop is at an uninhabited islet nearby where you will be served a beverage and have an opportunity to explore the beach and swim. You will also be invited to go snorkeling in water 6-10 feet deep. Snorkeling is performed in the shallow waters off the boat, providing an excellent opportunity for beginner and experienced snorkelers.
