Depart from the pier and from the comfort of a 32-foot glass-bottom boat, you will enjoy a spectacular look at the underwater wonders in Bonaire National Marine Park. Just settle into a shaded seat and look through the window that runs down the center of the vessel.

The waters here are teeming with marine life because the park was one of the first in the Caribbean to ban activities that damage the environment. In the 1960s, legislation was enacted to protect sea turtle eggs and nests. In the 1970s, spearfishing was banned, and it became illegal to remove coral. As a result, Bonaire Marine Park contains spectacular coral reefs that support a huge diversity of fish and other marine species.

Your window into the wonders below will offer a view that continuously changes, as the boat slowly motors over one spectacular reef after another. While there is no telling what will what come into view, you can expect to see stands of elkhorn and staghorn coral, graceful sea turtles, and a dazzling spectrum of colorful fish that may include grunts, wrasses, goatfish, parrotfish and tangs. If you’re not sure of the exact marine species, just ask the naturalist onboard or refer to the fish identification chart on board.

After spending approximately 75-minutes navigating the amazing waters of the marine park, you’ll return to the pier.

As you race off into the wilds in a caravan of ATV buggies, the natural beauty of the Dominican Republic will take center stage. Few adventures are more exhilarating, especially after a rain as the mud will be flying. The horseback ride will also be immensely fulfilling but the mood will be more relaxed and the setting more peaceful. The only sounds will be those of nature and the rhythmic clip clop of the horse’s hooves. Fun, convenient and the experience of a lifetime! You’ll be greeted by your smiling dolphin guide at the end of the dock who will brief you on the day`s events. It is only a five-minute walk to the Dolphin Park located within the dock facility! You’ll be given a locker and lifejacket. A member of the training team will provide an educational briefing that details what to expect during your dolphin interaction and key points of interest. Cameras and valuables are to be placed in the lockers for safe keeping as cameras are not allowed in the water.

The Dolphin Encounter is the classic dolphin program which provides an exhilarating dolphin experience for couples, families and guests of all ages. This excursion allows guests to kiss, pet and interact with the dolphin on a submerged platform and learn about this amazing creature and their habitat. You’ll be met at the keeper’s house, located at the base of the Flighthouse by the flight crew who will provide you with a safety orientation, assist with your equipment selection and fitting and a technical flight briefing covering the upcoming flight mission. Once outfitted and briefed, you’ll be transported up to your designated flight deck via the Flighthouse elevator where your adventure begins. Here, perched over 100 feet in the air you will experience the wind gusts as you soar 100 feet above the Manatee Lagoon. Consists of three zips crisscrossing Harvest Caye. The fun will begin at the Mayan Eden Nature Park, where you cross hanging bridges and can hold, pet and play with animals such as capuchin monkeys, Honduras national bird Macaws, toucans, parrots and sloths, the latter being the world’s slowest moving mammal and welcome to visit hummingbird & butterfly sanctuary. Few encounters reveal so much about the indigenous wildlife. You will then hop into an open-air, two-person buggy and race through the jungle in a nearby ATV Dune Buggy adventure park. As you follow the natural trails, you will stop every so often to take in the sights, observe the wildlife and listen to the guides describe the flora and fauna. Zip through the turquoise seas off Charlotte Amalie in a powerful catamaran that will take you to one of the island’s premier spots for snorkeling. The one-level Powercat offers plenty of cushioned seats in the shade and sun so you can easily find a spot to your liking. Either way, the views will be wonderfully picturesque on the way to Buck Island. A different sort of tropical scenery awaits you beneath the water’s surface, as you will discover while snorkeling the island’s Turtle Cove. You might spot French angelfish, brilliantly colored damselfish and bright-blue tangs. Hawksbills and green turtles are prevalent and watching them gracefully swim by is a showstopper. Next it is off to Honeymoon Beach, on Water Island another idyllic setting that is great for swimming and beachcombing with its easy access.
