Reggae Hill & Dunn's River Falls
hrs Estimate Duration
Join hands for an exhilarating climb up the natural stone staircase at the world-famous Dunn’s River Falls where you'll climb 600 feet of cool refreshing water as it cascades over natural limestone terraces. Guides are provided to assist you when ascending the rushing waters as it plunges directly into the pristine Caribbean Sea. They will take you along the best route and point out the many cool plunge pools you can slide into as you journey upwards. (Water shoes are available for rent or purchase from your tour guide. There will be a quick stop to pick up water shoes from a Reggae Hill staff member on the way to the Falls.)
Then visit Reggae Hill where you’ll experience the island’s rich cultural heritage through spirited reggae music, gourmet cuisine, and stunning natural landscapes. Relax in a comfortable chair and enjoy the beauty of colorful tropical plants and flowers that flourish near the tranquil river running along the property. Swim in the clear spring water, or simply wade along the riverbank. Listen to the sounds of reggae and dancehall music from the live band and/or DJ, and enjoy exciting performances by cultural dancers and bongo drummers.
For an authentic taste of Jamaica, savor a gourmet, five-course “tapas-style” meal of island-fusion dishes along with champagne cocktails, draft beer, strawberry guava rum punch, Jamaican mojitos and watermelon lemonade. Riverside massages available for extra charge. If time permits and at the discretion of your tour guide, there will be a short stop for shopping on the way back to the ship at Culture Touch. This is a store that specializes in offering high quality Jamaican-made products that make great gifts and reminders of your trip. You will be able to purchase unique t-shirts, liquor, organic body products, Jamaican coffee, rum cakes, hand-made cigars from a Jamaican cigar roller, and more.
