Peggy's Cove & City Hop On, Hop Off

Spend the day your way on this great combination tour of two of Halifax’s favorites. You’ll see the tiny coastal village of Peggy’s Cove by motor coach and then visit Halifax city sites by double-decker bus at your leisure, hop on/hop off style! You’ll be whisked away to the geological and panoramic marvel that is Peggy’s Cove. This beloved fishing village has been a popular destination for travelers for generations. See its unique granite coastline which has been shaped by millions of years of erosion and pounding tides. Enjoy a live lobster demonstration with your kilted guide and take some time to explore on your own.
Once back in Halifax you’ll have time while in port to take in the city’s main highlights aboard a fleet of double decker buses, fully guided and in support of Breast Cancer. There are over a dozen stops to choose from along the way, including such city highlights as Citadel Hill National Historic Site, the beautiful Public Gardens, the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic, the Spring Garden Road Shopping district, the Fairview Lawn Titanic Cemetery and plenty more shops and stops.

Note: The departure time indicated on your ticket is for the Peggy’s Cove by Coach portion of the tour which is 3 hours in length. Your double-decker experience is taken at your leisure before or after your trip to Peggy’s Cove, depending on your choice of a morning or afternoon departure. The duration of the double-decker portion of the tour is really up to you. The buses depart the pier approximately every 15 to 30 minutes all day. Optional admissions are not included at the various stops on this tour. On occasion, motorcoaches may be used in conjunction with double-deckers on the Hop on, Hop off portion.
